Thank you my angel, I'm trying but I have my some what good and bad days. But I'm doing my best and wont give up. That's what they want us to do to give up and walk away from our loved ones but its not going to happen. Thank you for your prayers you are in mine every day with out fail. (F) (L) (F) Much love and hugs.

Hahaha join the mush brains thank to this process and it doesn't get any better. :D, just keep calling , praying they do the right thing by you. :)

(F)(L)(F)

I was praying you had your interview by now and it should be first come first serve it would only be fair, but nothing in this process is fair. It seems they pick a person to hold back at every bump in the road. And no it's not easy to be truly happy when people get through in 17 to 30 days and your stuck watching everyone go on their merry way. We are only human and no one like to be picked last!

Congratulations to your wife and it's not your fault your not there it's Immigrations, you will be there for the next one.

Hang in there your close just keep calling don't leave it up to them, let them know your still around, your in my prayers my dear friend. :)(F) (L) (F)

I'll tell you this is not for my family here, I would pack up my things, my pets and move to Egypt, but I can't. :( Or better yet move to Ecuador and live happily in Quito. I love Egypt but it's so HOT and the summer is soooooooooooooooooo long!

I want to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart, your done with this process and you still find it in your heart to give us your time and wisdom and that means the world to me. I know life goes on and life has a way to take over yet you are here when your needed and your AMAZING. I thank God for you every night. I respect you beyond words even if you never (hope not) come back to this thread. Your contribution in holding us up when we can no longer stand on our own is a gift from God. Love you dearly, thank you a million, zillion times. (F) (L) (F)

Thank you for your kind words and I agree on what you said to ketsuban, so nice to take the time to support others on this journey.

Aww, thank you both. I know how it felt being caught in the process (it's bad enough even when it goes smoothly, IMO), and it was always nice seeing the long-time members here still helping out. I want to return the favour and hang around for a while. There's always people needing help and support during this bureaucratic nightmare. Without this website, I wouldn't have even known what to do. USCIS has its instructions, but they are long and not user-friendly.

I know you guys are probably tired of hearing me say this... and Im sorry, but I dont know if I should worry or not....

Im told to call and get ds261 reviewed to get IV fee invoiced... well I've been calling all week and the only thing they tell me is "is hasn't been added to the case and I can't make any changes"

So do I just keep asking that same thing? or do I sit tight and wait another week?

You submitted it very recently and it can take up to 60 days to get it added to your file. I would say wait until around the 50 day mark and then start pestering them if the IV invoice still isn't unlocked.

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

I got mine opened by calling within two weeks and telling them I input my email wrong and was afraid since I didn't provide emails when case number was assigned that I wouldn't get correspondence.

Did you opt in for Electronic Processing?

That is the reason it would have changed.

Just wanted to come back and see how everyone's doing and also share some good news. We finally got our CC at NVC on 3/31. Just like Not a Tailor, we missed the window for May interviews it looks like, but we're certainly hoping for an early June! Who knows, maybe we'll get the same interview date. :)

While I know it's possible to be happy for other's good news, I know it just totally sucks at the same time because a lot of you are going through things I probably can't even wrap my head around. I just want you to know that I think of you all the time and truly hope that things will start moving for you guys. I really do love you all. I don't know what I would do without this group on VJ.

I think many of us come in here just to draw strength from you! I come to read and get updated on how everyone in here's Ap is going, if there is any news on them, see other complaints similar to mine. Most importantly reading your posts gives me a LOT of strength. I can have a bad day, read your positive posts and say to myself,"I got this." Your positive posts and vibes keep many of us strong and I thank you for that and add you to my prayers daily among the others waiting and struggling through this process.

I sit here dumfounded, I found out a long time ago that there is a member that used to come here and one that comes here once in a while that has been making fun of my husband and I and the situation we are in. I find it heartless and pathetic that anyone would make fun of another's pain. How low does one have to be to come into a thread and be sweet and loving but yet go to another forum to spew their venom? It's none of you, but I know exactly who it is and where they go to do this. I leave your punishment in God's hands since he is the only one that has the right to punish you and the only one that can punish you like no other.

I have opened my heart to everyone on this thread and forum so that the mistakes we made wont hurt anyone else. Many are denied or put in AP and never return and now I understand why. Although there are great people on this thread I know many of these people come to read and make fun so because of them I will refrain from saying what's going on in our case. You can make fun of me, you can insult and belittle me but not my husband.

God bless those with truly good hearts, those that come here to help and find comfort in each other and rejoice at the blessings God gives us. To you I say thank you from the bottom of my heart and know I truly love every last one of you. :)(F) (L) (F)

Some people are pathetic, always will be. Like you said let them later be in Gods hands. GOD forbid if ever someday something like the pain and suffering you in AP go through shall happen to them let it be a lesson, it might happen to them someday, what they have now may not last forever. Dont let rotten people like that ever change who you are and how you do things (posting and such) cause I can assure you, the strength you people show keeps many of us going strong. You truly are a blessing. Let us and GOD have the last laugh at them someday.

Love the way you put it and I'll try to keep that in mind. I don't like to have to think what I'm going to post before I do. I find that letting your heart guide you is the best thing to do. God bless you sweet heart and thank you for your kind words. :)(F) (L) (F)

That's horrid, Soloenta. What a terrible, horrible person. Karma will catch up with them, don't worry.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

It's easy for people with weak minds to feel superior to someone who has had bad stuff happen to them. They use it as a crutch to forget how unfulfilled they are. My advice is to pay them no mind and to continue as you have been before - you can't let someone like that hold you back.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.
