karaoke annoys me but also makes me laugh. it's normally the people who are the worst that give the best/most hilarious performance

Everything annoys me.

are you also one of those people that gets really annoyed anytime someone bothers you even if you're not doing something important?

In China they call it KTV, and instead singing in front of a whole bar, you get a private room, with a couch, table, and big screen tv, and a computer console to choose your music. So, instead of embarrassing yourself in front of a bunch of strangers, you only embarrass yourself in front of your friends.

NVC process:

NVC received and assigned case number for both: 18 dec 2008

(break in the process- Lee comes to spend holidays here 22 dec-5th jan 2009)

DS 3032 generated :? ?

DS 3032 sent : 26 dec 2008 (friend sends it, based on how fast Ds-3032 was generated for Sracastillo and others who had same NOA2 date as me-risky, but worked)

received AOS package and IIN number in mail : 29 dec 2008 (same friend picks up mail and sends us the IIN)

pay the AOS bill online: 29 dec 2008

AOS shows as PAID: 30 dec 2008

my husband goes back and bags with our papers get lost : 5th jan 2009

package IV fee bill generated and paid online: 7th jan 2009

recieved bags and papers: 9th jan 2009

sent AOS package: 9th jan 2009

package IV bill shows PAID and sending package IV : 12 jan 2009

case complete: jan 20th

interview march 30th 2009

I129F

NVC mails I129F package to bucharest embasy

up to this day, no package received at embasy here -one more reason to prove in my case I129F was just useless

That's how they do it in the PI....or have your own at home.

We went bar hoping after a nice Italian dinner and several bottles of wine. Old, fat kanos just can't sing like the Filipinos :P

We love karaoke :dance: We used to have karaoke parties at our house, they were hiliarious....pub karaokes were fun too as the singing was mostly really really bad :lol:

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

I am totally with you on that! It's fun to get up there and know you're gonna get cheers no matter how bad you are! At least at the place I go to karaoke, everyone is there just to goof off, not to see who can sing the best.
