As long as it isn't for emergency AP, then dates don't really matter, and even with this still doesn't really make a difference.

We didnt even fill in any dates period. We don't plan on using it though, just applied for it since it was free in conjunction with the I-485 and EAD.

Hi my situation is I put my exact departure date on my re entry permit but they transferred my application at VSC which on their current processign time is taking them 5 months to work on i-131. Now I'm worried I might not receive biometric appointment before I leave on April 25 and I just receive my Notice of receipt today. Do you have any idea if doing infopass without biometric application can help? Thanks. :(

Okay that is very confusing!

The EAD/AP card will be approved from NBC. You AOS case might have been transferred.

If you haven't done your bio yet then you must have just filed?

And leaving in a month you can't do if you haven't gotten then AP card. Or yes you can leave but not enter again.

Okay just read that you have an approved GC. Then what is the problem you can travel with your GC. You only need the re-entry permit if you are gone for a long time.

I edited the response.

You also really shouldn't ask in people thread but make your own.

How long are you going to be gone? If it's only a brief vacation you will not need a re entry permit

You are more likely to get ppl who can help you if you make your own topic for ppl to see. It's also less confusing for ppl reading and it helps the original poster to get the responses they needed for their inquiry.

It doesn't matter. You dont have to even write a date on there. I wrote "unknown".

You'll be fine.

Ditto, wrote "To be determined" on mine, got approved and it's in my wallet now.
