HI VJ MEMBERS,

 

I am to the united state since December I get here by the k1 fiancé visa, I get married before my visa expire , I prepare all papers for AOS and I sent it already more than 10 days, but I did not get any txt or a e-mail or even a receipt from the USCIS that's they received my PACKAGE , I wonder how long it going take me  to have news about that , anyone had same experience share it please

every time I  call them they ask about my receipt number wich is the one I did not get it yet , plus every time I call to they seem busy and ask me to call them back or they will call me back I did not get any right answear yet honestly .

Did you check to make sure the mail was received by them and when. Like tracking number or anything like that. Also if you did pay by check have you noticed if it has been cashed?

Package Received ---> Friday, March 17, 2017 @ 3:50 am

NOA ----> 3/23/17

Please calm down sometimes it can take some time for them to send you out the documentation and receipt that they got your paperwork. Do not worry ok.

Again... please update your timeline and change from K1 to AOS applicant.

 

Why are you calling them over and over? Many ppl wait longer than 10 days for their NOA1 receipt. The guidance from USCIS is to contact them if it has been more than 30 business days. I doubt you will wait that long, but there is no reason to be calling them already. AOS is going to be many long waits, you'll have to get used to that.

The NOA for AOS application takes much longer then the few days it seems to take for the K1 application.  Ours took 18 days and there was no holiday in the middle anywhere.  Be patient.  Everything takes forever in this whole process.

I need advice I passed interview in Algeria today he told me I will put ur case back in USA and put ur case also in administrative process also he took the affidavit of support and my birth certificate and other papers but he gave me back my passport , what does it mean that.

Make a new topic so people can advice you correctly. Passport given back is not a good sign 9/10 times.

You gave them your medical examination or your still not received it from the clinic ??
