I'm separated with my partner,

im a GC holder, my previous partner, our relationship after marriage didn't work out, we are separated now, and i move to a different state and i change my address using my friend home address in the USCIS, i did it online , and now i meet someone who can help me for my continuing living here in US, He /She decided me to move on his/her place and help me to process my Citizenship by next year. and we are sort of called ( dating )

my question is that, it is okay to change address in USCIS multiple times?

i want to move to the person who want me to move on the place where he/she lives .

it is questionable in during my interview for citizenship ?

thanks guys.

You have to change the address with USCIS after you move, so yes change of place is not a big deal during the citizenship. You have to be residing in the same district for minimum of 3 months before you can apply for citizenship provided you are eligible from other aspects.

By the way, how can your new partner help you for continuing residence in the US and gain citizenship by next year?

Your timeline says you got married from a fiancée visa in July of 2015, how can you be applying for citizenship if you only came over last year?

What visa did you come to the us on?

When did you marry?

When did you get your green card?

Did you roc this is removing the conditions on your green card, for those who got green card before their 2nd wedding anniversary?

This 'helping' person, are you in a genuine relationship?

Woah, please don't shout at me (using all capital letters is shouting). I was only trying to help.

As you only got your green card in December of 2015 you can't apply for citizenship until late 2018. Once you are divorced you need to apply for removal of conditions on the green card.

Does this guy who is offering to pay for your removal of conditions and citizenship expect anything in return? Please be careful and not get into dangerous situation.

Are you officially separated and processing a divorce from the person who petitioned you? In order to have your ROC granted, you will need to note that you are divorced and they might (I don't remember but the guides will say) require a copy of your divorce certificate. So if you haven't started the divorce process, you might want to wait until you do to file for ROC. You do have until your green card expires in 2017 to remove conditions but you will be required to do so by that time. To be successful in your ROC, you will need to prove that you entered your K-1 marriage in good faith (see guide for ideas of items you can use for this). It might take some hard work to get the proof you need especially if you aren't on speaking terms with your petitioner and didn't take any evidence with you when you left.

As for citizenship, you won’t be eligible to file until 2020 if you get divorced from your spouse. If you got back together with your spouse before getting a divorce, you might still qualify under the 3 year rule. But it would be tougher to prove a good marriage because of all your address changes. The general rule is that spouses of US citizens can file 3 years after receiving their green card, if they can prove that they are still in a good faith marriage (to the person who petitioned them originally) at the time of approval. Everyone else has to wait until their 5th anniversary of green card reception. For you that would be December 2020.

As for your original question, changing your address shouldn’t affect your ROC or your citizenship applications adversely… unless you forget all the places you’ve lived.
