Hi all fellow February filers,

My fiancé and I received NOA 1 on Feb. 18, and a few days later my fiancé received a hard copy in the mail. I've checked our case status on USCIS website multiple times since, and I just want to make sure that the following message that I keep getting is normal for the time being. Our case is at TCS.

On February 18, 2015, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number SRCxxxxxxxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by March 20, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

What do you think? your answers are greatly appreciated.

-Marie

Hey all,

It's been about 2 weeks since we got out NOA2. All the letter said was that our case would be sent to the embassy. It said nothing about NVC. I'm confused by this... I noticed other people have called NVC to get some sort of number. Is that something I need to do??

Thanks everyone,

Noelia

Hi !

Congarts on your approval !

the cases need to pass through NVC , then they are sent by them to the embassy ! so there is a wait of a couple of weeks at the NVC , then you will be sent to your embassy !

you can try to call the NVC to get your case number :D

So petition was received feb 10th (at CSC) and approved March 6th.

Still hasn't been received at the NVC. Any other CSC feb approved petitions that haven't reached NVC yet?

Filed last February and got approved on March 11. Sadly, still no case number from NVC. Based on Facebook groups that I joined only those until March 09 2015 approval have received case numbers.

I would call. If it has past about 2-3 weeks since your case was approved, I would call NVC. Get ready to spend a lot of time waiting tho.

My case was recieved by the embassy on 25th, However, I haven't recieved packet 3 yet. How long could this take?. Tomorrow it will be a week since they recieved it, and I have seen others timelines and as soon as the embassy recieve the case, they deliver it to the beneficiary. I'm kinda worried.

Hello! This site is awesome! I have been reading and getting a lot of insights from this site since my fiance and i started our process. We filed our petition on feb 25 and got noa2 on mar 25. We're already past our 2nd week waiting for nvc to assign our case number. Anyone who had the same noa2 as ours (or later) already got their case number? Hehe this never ending waiting game is stressing me out.

Hello everyone,

This is also my first post on the site. My Fiancé and I are refiling our I129F petition. We originally filed in March 2012 and were approved in October 2012, VSC...... They took forever! Unfortunately we didn't make interviews, BUT here we are! We refiled on February 18, 2015 and was accepted February 20, 2015 by USCIS.. Got approval from CSC on April 6, 2015. Now just waiting for NVC notice. Way quicker than the previous time. Lol

Do have a question though, do we still send the DS230 to the Embassy once everything is sent to them from NVC?

Well good luck to everyone, may the time fly by quickly!!!!!!
