Hi guys, long time I don't show up here.

I have a question about my case..on CEAC website it says "READY" and last update was dec 24th, but we do not have our interview date yet.

My file is at the consulate already, and I've contacted them before but no email with the interview date.

Should I worry??

12/26/2013 NOA1 date
07/07/2014 NOA2 date (7 loooong months).
07/10/2014 left USCIS
07/22 arrived at NVC
07/31 Case# assigned
08/01 AOS Bill invoiced and DS 261
08/02 AOS bill paid and DS 261 completed
08/05 AOS bill shows PAID in the ceac website
08/13 AOS package sent
08/18 AOS package delivered (USPS website track number)
09/11 IV Bill invoiced
09/12 IV bill shows PAID
09/12 DS 260 completed
09/12 IV package sent
09/18 IV package received (rep. told this date but the 60 days waiting letter says 09/16).
10/17 - AOS checklist. Tax transcripst 2013 missing (husband thought W2s were enough)
10/21 - Checklist scanned
12/12 - Case Complete!!!!!!!!!!! thank God!
01/06/2015 - Medicals
01/12/2015 - Interview date ((It was Feb 27th but due to a cancellation they rescheduled to Jan 21!!!!!) - VISA APPROVED!!! Interview review on my timeline. :)
01/15/2015 - Visa in hand
01/22/2015 - POE (Los Angeles)!!!!!!!!

I-751 Removal of Conditions

11/03/2016 - Package sent

11/09/2016 - Check deposited and NOA 1 received

11/04/2016 - NOA 1 Date
12/08/2016 - Biometric Appt.

I just called NVC this morning and we have our Interview date set for Feb 5th at Nairobi Embassy!!!

Finally!!!!

I knew it I knew they would start Monday. Thank God. Congratulations. Let the good times begin people.

Just to let those who don't know, every embassy is different. Just because Kenyan has started announcing doesn't mean yours is ready. But do call. Don;t be discouraged. Let's go people!!

I knew this was going to be a good Monday and a good end to a a year.

hi everyone I hope everybody had a merry xmas and that u all have a happy new year full of love and less waiting!!! I got to USA almost a month ago! still haven't got a job I guess getting here on december is a though month to think of some companies hiring :/ but its fine ! I'm still waiting for my green card but already got my license which i use instead of taking my passp everywhere!!

Contacted congressman on Jan 2014

Sent an email to NSC on Jan 8th 2014

Last update on our case was on Jan 31st 2014 :(

Place 2 e-request on March 2014 :ranting:

Contacted another congressman March 28TH 2014

NOA2 28th March 2014 yeahhhh babyyyyy :dancing:

Your I-130 was approved in 374 days from your NOA1 date.

Got NOA2 Hard Copy March 31st 2014 :thumbs:

File got to NVC on April 14th .. waiting for a case number still

MAY 19 got case number

Paid AOS fee May 21st

Filed DS 260 July 6th, now is on us to get all the documents :)

Sent AOS package and IV on June

NVC RECEIVES PACKAGE ON JULY 22

We got a check list saying my IV package is not there :/??? SEPT 15TH 2014

MEDICAL EXAM OCTOBER 13TH

INTERVIEW SCHEDULED NOVEMBER 6TH 2014.

POE DEC 1ST 2014

NO GREEN CARD YET

Ready means you are ready to be scheduled doesn't always mean you have interview. For most of us who got interview through NVC Ready for us means embassy has our petition. So the same would be for you. They have your petition.

POE was 12/24/2014 at Ft. Lauderdale... It took my husband 2.5 hours to make it through customs/immigration. Other than the wait time there were no issues. He said all the staff there were nice. He also said that they didn't seem to process the people in the order that they came in as many people were processed before him that arrived after him. All in all the process was good the wait time I think was due to the number of people coming at the same time. S/N our son acts as if his dad was always with him :)

Depending where you are looking for work sand type most companies don;t start hiring until the 1st quarter of the year. Congratulations and welcome to America,

Hi dwheels, do we typically receive the interview email same or next day it is scheduled? Or is it more like the CC email that takes 7 days or so?
