hmmmm.... I wonder how USCIS would view participation in this since there is compensation involved

Well, considering they won't be on a flight to the US without a visa, I can't see USCIS having any objection to someone with a Visa being compensated by airfare for participating in a show focusing on the K-1 process and the couples taking that 'visa journey'.

Moderator hat on . . .

Topic is being moved to Immigration News Discussion where the previous topics on this reality tv series have been posted.

Please remember that while Visa Journey is allowing this information to be posted, this does not mean VJ endorses this endeavour, rather we are allowing our members the opportunity to decide for themselves if they wish to participate or not.

Please also remember to use good judgment and your discretion before you reveal any personal sensitive information and make sure you know what you are getting yourself in for before you decide to continue with any such participation. For you, it is a a life changing event; for the producers, it is a tv show; for the audience it will just be another type of reality entertainment. Make sure this is what you really want for yourselves before you make any commitments, if you are selected.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

One has to wonder about these occasional newbie posts when you know they are going to want to know all your personal imformation . And to a gmail account , not even a legit network contact.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

We have spoken with the producers over PM and are as confident as we can be that they are legit. Of course, Kathryn's words of caution above still apply.
