You were approved. You say without biometrics, do you mean without an interview? Everyone must be fingerprinted.

The title says card production without Biometrics. That can't happen as the biometrics data (photo, etc) is what is printed on the card. There is a problem somewhere.

You can get a card without an interview, but you cannot get a card without biometrics, unless you have another recent biometrics on file.

Congratulations! There might be a problem if you get approved without biometrics as it is necessary. Try to contact them or check the USCIS website from time to time because they sometimes have glitches.

It says specifically adjustment of status... so it's the green card. There is probably biometrics on file somewhere, can't see them making that kind of mistake. When the card arrives they'll see what's what, if there is a mistake they can deal with it then.

How could there be biometrics on file without OP knowing about it? Either USCIS brought him/her in and had him/her pose for a mugshot, or they didn't, right? I agree, though: OP will probably find out soon enough what is happening. If not he can call USCIS.

What kind of fingerprinting did you receive? All 8 and your thumb? Biometrics is more than fingerprinting. Facial features are also captured. Children's facial features change and seven years ago is not usable. If they allow this, it means someone is not doing their job and security can be breached. They have to be more vigilant. Hypothetically, what would happen if it was an identical twin brother who have filed using the applicant's name. You see what I mean? It's important that the information be current and relevant. We're you fingerprinted by immigration 7 years ago? Regardless of the fact, they need current information.

The individual that stated that USCIS wouldn't make that mistake is mistaken. My friend received her 10 year green card and the picture displayed was her son's. How could such an obvious mistake pass through the system? Her son is a minor; their names are not unisex nor similar as is Daniel and Danielle. That was more than an oversight on USCIS's part. More than one person were not doing their job - printer, quality check, or mail stuffer. Don't jump for joy as yet on this obvious omission. You need to get the details regarding the information used and scrutinize the card.

Keep us posted. If this is something new, and I doubt it, others will benefit from this.
