I am nervous because My sister and I are both applying for K-1 Visas for our fiances. It is kind of a weird situation. We are twins and obviously have a lot in common haha. I have been with my b/f for 7 years and she has been with hers for 6 years. I live in Mexico with him but we are going to be moving back to MN at the same time and we will have to move in with my parents first and then find a a place for ourselves. Does it look bad that my sis and I both are going to be putting the same address??? This is making me very nervous.

You guys really do have a lot in common! Are you planning on filing the same day? I don't think this will turn heads.. the officers are too busy examining your petition on its own, let alone comparing it to someone elses. If your applications are compliant with the rules and have no missing evidence they should hopefully breeze through. (and by breeze i mean on that very timid breeze that takes about 6 months =)

Actually I don't know. It might look very suspicious to have two K-1 petitions at the same address, they might assume it is an agency or someone who is being paid to find US spouses to get get greencards.

It would only look strange in the unlikely event somebody actually noticed. Either way, it is easily and legitimately explained. No worries.

-just wanted to say I'm also a twin from MN :)

(I also used to live abroad with my significant other before moving back home to marry a few years ago)

Good luck to you and your sister with your processing.

Hope the adjustment goes ok for all of you and congratulations!

; I don't think you should worry about that one. They (re)view cases individually, and if, for somehow reason, they do notice, just explain the situation.

And it's a very possitive thing that you two are dating your fiance for so long. I think it would put up a red flag if the two of you were dating your guys for like 6 months/1 year or so. But 6 and 7 years is pretty a long time dating. And I'm sure that if it was really about getting a greencard, you wouldn't have waited so long to apply. .

Good luck on yalls journey!!!!

:ot: : I'm a twin too :innocent:

Thanks everyone for your comments!! My fiance do have a lot of proof of us being together. I mean we own a house together and have had it since 2005, we have accounts and land together I think that will help. My sister already submitted her papers and I am still working on them and probably will not be sending mine in for another month. I guess we will have to see what happens!!! Thanks again!!

Just found this haha! I think we are ok, imagine how many of these they get every day. Maybe yours won't even be sent to the same service center!

Cool!!! I am the other twin. Where in MN are you from? (Sister of Sarah&Oscar).
