Interview for my wife went very smoothly and everyone was apparently very friendly. I got my wife a night at the Best Western around the corner from the embassy for her interview and would highly recommend you do the same. Less stress and don’t have to worry about morning commute. Overall from I-130 submission to visa pickup it took 5 months and 22 days. 2019-10-21

A (second) I-864 filed by my husband (petitioner), because they apparently didn't receive the first one (which they've somehow noticed just then). We submitted one I-864 earlier filed by him, who hasn't earned more than a few hundred each month (as we are both students yet), one I-864 filed by our joint sponsor as well as a letter, that explains why my husband doesn't have any tax records. Maybe that's where some confusion lies. 2. A letter written by our joint sponsor in which she states, that she fully understands what she is going to account for, because she hasn't met me that often in here life and is a very close family friend but no biological relative to my husband. 2019-10-23

Having a hard time booking an interview date/vac appointment. Called/emailed support & embassy, said to keep trying. When booking your interview (what they don't tell you is) when you log on to http://ustraveldocs.com/do ON THE LEFT YOU SHOULD SEE *FIRST AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT IS (DATE). That means appointments are available and ONLY THEN, you can book VAC and Interview date. If that doesn't pop up... you will THINK you can book the VAC appointments, which will pop up but you will get a message saying the appointment isn't available. If there was a warning about it on the site, I believe people wouldn't be so anxious. 2019-10-25
