Hello Elizas, I am happy that your I-130 got approved 😊. And hopefully you will get your italian police certificate. I read your post and your timeline, I have a question please, didn't you go through the DS-261, the paying fees for finance evidence? Thanks

Hello! As far as i know, DS-261 is the Online Choice of Address and agent. I wasn't required to file one - i guess it depends on consulates? Frankfurt at least didn't ask me to submit one. As for "paying fees for financial evidence", i don't fully get what you mean. DS-260 doesn't have any fee associated. The only fees i had to pay after I-130 are the ones listed here: https://de.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fees/

Thank you for your quick reply, the finance evidence are the IRS from your US spouse and the form I-864 that should be sent to the NVC and I know that they have NVC affidavit of support fees(120$) and NVC immigration visa processing fee (325$)

I filed I-864 and the attached IRS, but i did not pay any fee; my case did not concern NVC because it was filed through USCIS in Germany. The Immigration Fee (325$) applies also to me, i will pay that at the interview. As for the Affidavit of Support fee, that applies only for people whose process is managed from NVC within the US, not for DCF - if i understood correctly! [from travel.state.gov: "Yes, there is a $120 fee per case for reviewing the Affidavit of Support *when the form(s) is (are) filed in the United States*."

Ah thanks a lot, now it’s clear. I appreciate your response. I wish you the best and keep updating your case.

Wow so happy to hear you have gotten to this stage already. Congrats👏. I applied on 28th May 2019 and yet to get my i-130 approved, do you have any idea of what could be the reason? Yes we have received NOA after submission but nothing since then. Thanks

That does indeed seem like way too long, if you are also talking about DCF in Frankfurt for a IR1/CR1. In case you are - have you tried writing them an email? They are very responsive!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
