Good luck Kobbar.  I think you will have no problems.  Just don't fight with the USCIS interviewer or punch him on the nose.

Calm down.  That means you are almost done.  Just show up, do not kill the interviewer and you will be approved. Believe me everything is going to be okay.  I can understand why you worry, and for sure is secondary to your Anxiety diagnosis.  By the way, I am retired but I am a Board Certified Adult and Child Psychiatrist.  I have rarely seen a person being diagnosed of GAD and Panic Attacks both at the same time but I guess it is possible.  Panic Attacks can be very disabling. Lemon23 has a point, so RELAX again please.  I am sure you had some cognitive therapy for your symptoms.  Go over these techniques and do take some prescribed meds prior to the interview.  Consult with your therapist/psychiatrist prior to the interview.  Remember again it is your  anxiety diagnosis and nothing else.  You will do fine.

Nicknackzz44.  Go to the section on ROC in this website and READ everything about the topic.  After that please also visit USCIS, the i-755 form and the instructions on how to complete the form.  If after that you still encounter questions, then please ask the people in this forum.  Believe me I like to be of assistance but hate the lazy people that ask questions before they even try to do a little research. Be considerate of others please.  There is no need to now be in a hurry because you knew this day was coming.  Do not make your lack of preparation an emergency.

Send flowers to your atty. and show up for the interview.  You DO NOT NEED your atty. for the interview.  It might even be a hindrance.  You show up and answer truthfully the questions posed along with the typical questions you already study for the civil test, which by the way are very easy.

frjgayek might have a point.  But for a regular interview you just do not need an atty.  Unless your case is so complicated that you think they will ask about your involvement in the communist party.

I am having trouble understanding your question.  You say your husband´s car insurance and affidavits were not listed in the "document we submitted".  What document.  Nevertheless, let me say the affidavits are almost useless. You can get anybody to say you are an outstanding citizen even if you are a serial killer.  Insofar as you husband's car insurance, it does nothing to prove commingling of funds.  Therefore, concentrate and all documents that prove funds commingling and you will have no problem. (joint IRS transcripts, leases, health and life insurance, titles in both of your names including car insurance in both of your names utility bills (even if on only one of your names, it will show mutual address you can prove).

The letter extends the expiration date for one year.  If still your permanent GC has not arrived, ask for a second extension.   Patience.  Some people have waited over 16 months.  It also depends on which center you have to submit.

    ShawnSpilker,
Sunniland gave you the exact link.  But nevertheless, you could have found all that info if you would have examined "thoroughly" all the contents of this website.  When I was a novice, I spent hours searching all the different sections of the website as well as the forums.  It appears to me that "some", not all the person that ask questions in the forums, are just plain lazy and do not do the work.  I am sure I am speaking for many of the senior participants.  I remember a questions about how to organize the packet you are about to send.  Again, there is a section in this website that instructs you in detail on how to do it, stapling or not etc., how to pay, what to write on the check memo.  Please guys, read first and if you cannot find an answer, then ask.

I think you have more than plenty of documentation.  By the way, the affidavits by friends are the least important.  Always remember that the documentation they look more closely is all signs that you shared common economical ties like 3 years of tax returns, joint bank account, joint rental agreements, joint bills and insurances, etc.

    hi,

I am removing conditions (i751) and I might have mistakenly sent a check worth $590 and not $680.
I was checking the USCIS website today and noticed it says $680 now!, I can swear it was $590 at the time of my filling. The package was sent on December 27 and arrived on December 29, 2016.

$595, effective 12 a.m. Eastern U.S. time, December 23, 2016. (You may be required to pay an additional $85 biometric services fee for a total of $680. See the form Instructions for payment details.)

Can anyone confirm if I am right or wrong?
Will I get the package back and have to send it again, is there any 'grace period'?

    Thanks

This is for Yourika and Jim,
I believe I mailed the application on March 29th, 2014 and it was received in Vermont on March the 3rd. (stated on return receipt). Shortly thereafter, I received the NOA1 one year extension dated the 3rd. also and received around the 7th. I hope it is clear now. I am waiting for the Biometrics appointment which I expect soon according to the timelines of the other fellows filing around my date.

Your step daughter school record showing the address of living and you both as parents is primary evidence. Copy of her Green Card (both sides) is also required - of course the fee. Then all the evidence you submitted for your wife (showing that you are living together and that finances are inter-mingled will also need to be sent with this application too, as your marriage is basis of her migration too.

If your son got his Permanent Residency at the same time or within 90 months of yours, then you can include him in your I-751 application and list him in Section 5 of the form. You will also have to pay an additional $85.00 for his biometrics fee. If however, his GC was granted 90 days after yours, then he has to file also form I-751 and pay the whole fee of $590.00.

If your dependent K-2 visa holder received Permanent Residency Status at the same time or within 90 months of your wife, you can include her/him in the same application by listing him/her in section 5 of the application. You have to pay an additional fee for biometrics if the dependent is older than 14 years.
