  1. Well not applicable here but the DV was originally the Irish Visa.
  2. Vaccination waivers are usually quick
  3. Nothing you have mentioned shouts expedite, do you have anything else?
  4. Yep apply 1st Jan 2025, meantime sort out the other stuff.
  5. Another excellent summary from Perun https://youtu.be/1zcUe47xerQ
  6. I have only once come across somebody being able to add Parents to their Health Insurance and that was many years ago.
  7. The problem with that is this may be a major site for US Immigration but most people going through the process have probably never heard of it. And even then this subject comes up very infrequently, now I do not keep count but maybe once a year at most?
  8. You wait for your visa number to become current.
  9. This is where I get confused, your Divorce Settlement does not follow the I 864 agreement as they describe it.
  10. The I 864 amount is revised every year, I suppose it could not increase but I have never seen it not, does the agreement take that into account?
  11. So what is the plan after the 10 years is up?
  12. Who knows what she is doing? Probable not watching the ladies on The View. The I 864 gives the ability to sue, which would be in Federal Court, and there are of course defences that come in. As far as I can tell this was a Divorce Court settlement. Anyway good to hear there are competent Lawyers involved.
  13. Why would they think someone who had a visa would not have used it?
  14. The safest option would be to use the date you took up full time residency.
  15. A long shot but British National may be eligible for the DV. Free to enter. EB2 NIW is also very popular.
  16. This does not come up a lot and obviously the descriptions are different but the general principle seems to be the same. I personally find it fascinating that Lawyers do not seem to be able to google.
  17. Super Visa is effectively a tourist visa. The key difference is that the super visa allows an individual to stay for up to 5 years at a time in Canada, while a 10-year multiple entry visa would only have a status period for each entry of six months only. There are also specific requirements that you must meet to be able to get a super visa. Sponsoring Parents last time I looked required you to come up in a lottery. Canada is different, is probably the simplest comment, it does favour Employment based applicants.
