  1. I still think it will be around a year.
  2. Stopped at Costco and spent $360.... Filled up $2.15, ones around here at $3.60.
  3. The odd thing it is not that cold, 25F but the wind kills you.
  4. One of the nice things about CoTrip is that they show where the Plows are, managed to follow one most of the way back, lit up like a Christmas Tree.
  5. I always like it when it is a lot colder in Denver than up here. One of the odd occasions I will watch the local news.
  6. I assume you need to refile but that is something for your CPA.
  7. Just got back, conditions awful, there were times I just stopped and I know the road very well I tried keeping one wheel on the rumble strip Why does the US not use Cats Eyes?
  8. I have never seen a Peru DCF case. From a practical point of view even of there was one a few years ago it does not follow the timeline and procedures will be the same. You will need the job offer, and then contact the Consulate to confirm they will take your case and they will let you know the procedure. I am going to guess they do very few of them.
  9. I put my non EV car on charge yesterday as I have not driven it for a while, I think I really need to replace the battery, and it is cooooold. That photo looks like a Tesla Supercharger, now I do not know how much juice a Tesla heating system can take but even if it is 2KW that is tiny compared to the amount of juice those produce. I do remember being told that the battery needs to be conditioned in cold weather to take a full charge but that can be done whilst driving to the charging station. Now a lot of the schools are not open today or on delayed starts, one of the problems is that they use Diesel buses and they do not want to start in the cold weather. I have thought of getting an engine block heater. Not sure why School Buses do not have them here. Anyway we will be up to 38f as a high tomorrow so some melt. Looks like I will not be going anywhere for awhile, Hwy closed due to blowing snow. https://maps.cotrip.org/@-106.68385,39.75038,7?show=winterDriving,roadReports,plowLocations,weatherRadar,weatherWarnings,chainLaws I like knowing where the plows are, I have waited before so I can follow one
  10. Staffing issues? Not seen it myself
  11. You intend flying to Colombia return with them and then fly to Mexico so they can save a few bucks? USCs do not go through the visitor line btw
  12. All kicking off on Germany, Farmers have had enough
  13. Fiscal Year* Approval Rate Rejection Rate# FY 2018 72.22% 27.78% FY 2019 75% 25% FY 2020 77.78% 22.22% FY 2021 85.71% 14.29% The approval rate looks good but then I doubt any have your reasoning.
  14. The cheap flights seem to go through Bogota.
  15. Have you got the EAD and AP?
  16. I have been to a B Interview, which is the same. I had quite a long wait to be called up so did earwig a bit. And have read no end of others experiences. And of course wait time vary by Consulate as well as by variant.
  17. It is the same as the B
  18. How much cash do you have?
  19. C and a B use the same process, file the DS 160 and interview.
  20. As an aside K1 Pakistan is not normally a good idea
  21. FYI Canada is by far the strictest on Domicile.
  22. They can certainly apply, now I am a suspicious so and so and my thought was that they might be tempted to use it as a B, but I am not the person interviewing them.
  23. Why not apply for a B2, then you do not have issues with layovers etc.
  24. That situation was resolvable, took time and money. I look at it the other way around, if you have money you can afford to wait, if you do not you need to marry and file asap.
