I put my non EV car on charge yesterday as I have not driven it for a while, I think I really need to replace the battery, and it is cooooold.
That photo looks like a Tesla Supercharger, now I do not know how much juice a Tesla heating system can take but even if it is 2KW that is tiny compared to the amount of juice those produce.
I do remember being told that the battery needs to be conditioned in cold weather to take a full charge but that can be done whilst driving to the charging station.
Now a lot of the schools are not open today or on delayed starts, one of the problems is that they use Diesel buses and they do not want to start in the cold weather. I have thought of getting an engine block heater. Not sure why School Buses do not have them here.
Anyway we will be up to 38f as a high tomorrow so some melt.
Looks like I will not be going anywhere for awhile, Hwy closed due to blowing snow.
