There is a lot of truth to that and Labour tend to mess up quicker due to the very nature of what they now promise.
Labour lost some seats to real crazies, but they have a massive majority, not sure the Tories have ever been this low, you would have to go back to the Whigs?
Starmer can basically ignore his crazies as he does not need them, and of course they will not like that.
Looking at the results and I am a long way away my impression was that it was more about Tory losses not Labour gains. Farage was elected. I do not think he was a candidate 6 weeks ago.
All my votes bar one have been against someone, a lot of people who have voted Conservative voted for someone else or not at all.
