  1. I am not as familiar with JPEG as I am with PDF. One reason I use PDF is because I have Adobe Acrobat Pro which along with many other functions/features, allows me to "merge" multiple PDFs into one. We have used this extensively in putting my wife's N-400 package together (we are filing under 3 years rule). I have merged monthly PDF credit card and bank statements into one annual PDF file. So when I upload the files, there are less of them to upload (subject to 6 MB max file size).
  2. My wife will be filing her N-400 online on 9-13-2022. She already has her 10 year GC and her 90 days window opens on 9-10. We will update once it is filed. Local Office: Los Angeles
  3. Hi Joy, hope you are doing well. What you included makes total sense. However, there is a form M-477 (Document Checklist- please see below URL) which states: "If you are applying for naturalization on the basis of marriage to US citizens, send the following 4 items"....it lists 4 items to send. Note: item #4a asks for "Tax returns, bank accounts, leases, mortgages...." It also provides you other options under 4b and 4c since it has the word "or". To be honest, it is a bit confusing. That is the reason we are front loading bunch of bank/credit card statements, just in case. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/attachments.pdf
  4. We are not uploading any photos but she will taking it with her (along with copies of everything that was uploaded, just in case). Yes we have 3 files for bank statements (2020, 2021 and 2022), same for credit cards, utilities, etc. We also have 3 years of IRS Account Transcripts (showing we have zero balance owed to IRS). You can download them from IRS "Your Online Account" page. I am not sure of how many files you can upload since we have not filled out the online N-400 form, yet. I was not aware there are any limits (again, file sizes must be below 6 MB). Perhaps others can chime in and answer this questions.
  5. We are finalizing package for my wife's N-400 now. She is applying in mid September, under 3 year rule as well. We are submitting everything upfront. Our package includes 3 years of joint checking, credit card statements, utilities, taxes and home/car insurances. I saved all monthly statements in PDF format and then used Adobe Acrobat Pro to "merge" them together so that we have ONE file for each calendar year....for example we have 2020 BofA statements, 2021 BofA statements, etc. You need to stay below 6 MB file size. Some people use quarterly statements and that should be fine as well. We are also uploading all the other documents which they have asked for (front/back copy of GC, my US naturalization certificate, marriage certificate, etc.).
  6. We got back from UK about 10 days ago. I am US Citizen and my wife just got her 10 year GC. Both of us have had Global Entry (GE). For me, GE worked fine. For my wife, neither her British passport nor her GC worked (even though she updated her new 10 year GC expiration date on GE web site prior to our departure). However, the officer just looked at her GC and confirmed picture matched her and then he let her thru. By the way, at least at LAX international terminal, GE does NOT print out anything anymore (new procedure). It simply takes a picture of you and displays a green check mark on the screen (which I assume it means everything is OK). Upon leaving GE kiosk area, there is an officer with an iPad who confirms there is a green check mark next to your picture on his iPad. Very fast and quite efficient.
  7. You have plenty of time to get a passport, if you act quickly and if you are willing to possibly travel to a passport agency. See below url. You need to let them know if you need to travel due to either 1) life/death emergency or 2) "Urgent Travel" needs (within 14 days). In either case, you can get same day passport as soon as you can secure an appointment in a passport agency. Good luck. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/get-fast.html
  8. I remember when I renewed my passport last year, I did not need to have it expedited. Then it was taking too long. I decided to call them and see if I can convert my application it to expedited. They emailed me a form so that I can provide my credit card for processing expedited fee payment. It was all done same day. I think you should call the passport center (I do not have their phone number) and tell them you like to pay for expedited processing and they will most probably accommodate your request. Wishing you the best.
  9. 6/27 Update: Card was finally delivered by USPS. We opened up a case with USPS which was routed to our local post office. They investigated and were able to find the document last night and I was able to pick it up this morning. Glad this one is behind us.
  10. My wife and I are planning to contact USCIS if 10 year GC does not get delivered by next week. We will probably ask to speak with a Tier-2 officer and will ask him/her on best course of action since our trip is 3 weeks away. I will also file for I-90 as it was suggested and have a print out copy of that request. I will definitely post all updates here once I have any.
  11. Thanks @Mike E I am planning for the worst case scenario (though hoping I get the card and not have to do anything more). I agree with you. They should be sending these cards using registered mail. Question...do you think we need to get her an ADIT stamp on her passport or would that not be necessary? If the card does not arrive, I will definitely file I-90 and ask for a replacement. My wife is planning to apply for Citizenship in September, regardless. It is bad enough waiting for USCIS to approve ROC, now we have to deal with this....
  12. Hello everyone, My wife's i-751 ROC was filed on Sept 13, 2021 and it was approved two weeks ago on 6/10/2022 (Card in production update). On 6/15/2022, we received I-797 Notice of Action in the mail (Approval of request to remove the conditions on your permanent resident status). According USCIS case tracker, the card was picked up on 6/16/2022 by USPS. We were provided USPS priority mail tracking. Due to Juneteenth holiday, it showed delivery date of 6/21. We did not receive the card. USPS online tracking status shows "In Transit, Arriving late". We have contacted USPS and opened up a case. They contacted us yesterday, confirming the shipment made it to Los Angeles International Distribution Center and no update since then. We get priority mail packages quite a bit and noticed that all of our packages usually go to Los Angeles Network Distribution Center (which is a different distribution center that the one our card went to). USPS indicated all packages ship from distribution center to local post office in a truck and "There is nobody at the distribution center to call to acquire about this tracking". Normally we would wait for a few weeks before getting concerned and/or contacting USCIS. However, we have a pending trip to UK in a few weeks. My wife still has the original expired 2 year GC and 24 months extension (expires in Dec 2023) plus the new I-797 NOA indicating final approval and removal of condition. I know we can use expired GC and 24 months extension letter to board the plane back to US. My question is....would there be an issue upon arrival in the US with CBP if we do NOT have 10 year GC by that time? We are planning to have the following documents when arriving back in US: Wife's UK Passport Expired 2 year GC 24 Months extension I-797 NOA showing final approval and conditions being removed Thank you in advance for your responses.
  13. Download an app called "Case Tracker". Then go to "search" on the bottom, next to my case and enter your case number less 500. Enter Search and you will be able to see 500 cases after yours. You can play with this with different case numbers so that you can see cases behind or after yous and their current status.
  14. WAC Approval. Just received email that my wife's i-751 was approved. No interview/RFE. I know it is a long process. Stay positive. Your approval will come soon. I do wish you all the best. My wife will be applying for citizenship in mid September.
  15. WAC (California Center) sent biometric updates for Nov and a few December filers during third week of April. You may either be in the next batch in mid June or in mid July. Keep in mind some people get ROC approval without ever getting biometrics update. The only thing consistent with USCIS is its inconsistency.
  16. This is wonderful. Congratulations. Would you mind sharing your file/NOA dates?
  17. Wow, Congrats! Please update your timeline when you get a chance. We are Sept WAC filer and seeing your approval gives a lot of us hope.
  18. You may want to check your status here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do For some reasons the other two sites do not always update. I think this is the best place to check. Good luck.
  19. Thanks for the update. My wife's ROC has Sept 2021 filing date (also WAC), about a few weeks after yours.
  20. Woohoo. Huge Congratulations. Hoping for more good news like yours from others who are waiting as well.
