N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports I guess they changed the ‘actively reviewed’ language to ‘still being processed’ today or recently. Honestly I don’t hate the update, it’s certainly more accurate this way.

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports I am more or less same situation as you. Filed couple weeks after, but also 90 days early. RoC still pending. It’d be nice to hear something soon.

FLHSMV cancelled my driver's licenseP055UM replied to Yareth's topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America I guess I’d go to the drivers license office and plead your case. If you get nowhere then appeal. Like you said, you have the valid documentation, it’s sucks that you have to go through this but if you don’t have alternative documentation, you don’t seem to have any other choice.

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports It’s a 1,000 page document, which touches many aspects of life in America for citizens and non-citizens alike. Is there any particular provision or area that you’re wondering about as pertains to your naturalization or dual-nationality? I haven’t heard anything specific about these areas other than some fee increases (I think?), but it is a big bill and the minutiae often isn’t covered that well in the media.

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports Depends how much stock you put in the data scraped by casestatusext. At time of writing ~700 of the ~29000 Feb N-400 cases have Interview Cancelled as their status. Worth remembering that this doesn’t include online applications or those who haven’t yet been processed or those who have already been rescheduled. Even if perhaps the overall numbers aren’t fully accurate, tracking daily shows an uptick in cancellations over the last few weeks from a small handful each day to a dozen or more.

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports Interesting. I was wondering (with no evidence) if it was just the season - like, interviews get scheduled and then staff take PTO and so interviews get cancelled. In reality it is likely a combination of factors.

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports Looks like interview cancellations have ticked up recently. I wonder why.

Global Entry App ExperienceP055UM replied to Dashinka's topic in Working & Traveling During US Immigration This is interesting! What advantage does having the GE app have over just having GE? I have found the GE experience to be extremely quick anyway (when not entering on extension letter), so am curious as to how the app could make this even quicker. Is it the case that there are different lines for GE no app and GE with app?

Work permitP055UM replied to narayan333's topic in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas Frustrating as it is, they don’t processes stuff on a first come, first served basis. I know it feels like they should, but they just don’t. It will happen soon enough. Good luck!

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports Am I missing something? Based on the USCIS website, it looks like the vast majority of cases are adjudicated in the 7-9 month range. To be taken with a pinch of salt and all, but are a lot of people going beyond 12 months? I don’t think I could take another ~8+ months of waiting!

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports Funny enough mine also says I am about half way through, but only 3% are completed at my FO. Go figure!

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports Well, nobody ever said this stuff makes any sense.

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports They changed the MyProgress tab in the USCIS account homepage. I am sure the numbers are still nonsense but it looks prettier Apparently 3% of cases like mine filed within 15 days of me have been closed. Interesting, for what it’s worth.

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports I got an update just after midnight one of the days this week on the API. Incidentally this was my three year LPR anniversary. Hard to think it doesn’t mean anything but I also haven’t had any ‘real’ movement since 🤷♂️

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports What is this? I’m not familiar. I had an API update a couple of days ago but no new code/movement. MyProgress also changed from 2 months to 4 months. lol.

N400 February 2025 General ProvisionP055UM replied to Avuscrm5's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports I’m in the same office but am still waiting. Congrats on getting your date and good luck for your upcoming interview!

AoS interview isn’t too bad, generally. Just be prepared for quick fire questions or questions that seem designed to ruffle your feathers. Our IO asked our anniversary like four or five times, sometimes immediately after a completely unrelated question. I was approved immediately after, but I do remember it being a bit unnerving at the time. Good luck!

Hardly. $100 still buys $100 worth of shares. You are right that it will almost certainly recover and those who have the ability to invest now will see gains from their $100 going further at present. However, acting like this immediately puts more money in peoples’ pocket that can be invested is woefully upside down thinking, especially since most experts believe that in the short term, this will increase inflation, and therefore will lead to less money in the pockets of the average person. Some people will benefit from this, undoubtedly, but it will be the same people that always do: the people with the means to exploit the situation - in this case buy low - ie the rich. If we truly wanted to help Millennials/ Gen Z, we should’ve cancelled more student debt.
