I got  a visa.  The interview went well.  For start need to enter the embassy through security.  Next, will need to give the passport at the window 19, 20 or 21 and wait to be invited.  Then give the secretary all the necessary documents (a letter stating that you plan to get married within 90 days, evidence of your meetings and something else, I don’t remember).  Then wait for the consul to invite for an interview.  When I was interviewed, there were three consuls, two women and a man.  The women were welcoming and friendly, the man was very strict.  I was lucky, I got to the woman.  I sweared an oath and be fingerprinted.  Then I was asked the following questions: - When did I meet my fiancé?  - How did we meet?  -How and where do we plan to hold our wedding?  -When and how did we understand that we wanted to be together in order to apply for a K1 visa?  When was the last time I saw my fiancé.

    And the most important thing!!!

The deadline for completing our interview was April 12.  And since I passed on April 28, the secretary demanded a second letter from my fiancé that he agrees to marry within 90 days.  It's good that my fiancé was waiting for me near the embassy and I was allowed to go out and that he wrote this letter right away.

Therefore, pay attention, maybe you also need to prepare such a letter in advance.

    Good luck with the interview.

I want to share my experience of passing the medical commission.  Maybe my information will be useful to someone.  The medical examination took place today, April 22, 2022. The clinic is located near the railway station.  We rented a hotel 10 minutes walk from the clinic.  When choosing a hotel, you need to be careful, because there is a "red light street" and there are drug addicts and prostitutes, it's very scary, read the reviews.  If you need the name of our hotel, I'll tell you, let me know.

As for the medical examination itself.  The main thing is that you speak German or English or take an interpreter with you.  Also now there is a chat in the telegram channel with ordinary people who are ready to help (If anyone needs it, I can link to this chat). You can arrange for the interpreter to call by video link and thus help.

First you go to the clinic and they give you a number and tell you to go up to the second floor and wait to be invited.

You go to the secretary, she registers you, asks you to sign a document stating that you agree to transfer your information further and asks you to sign another blank sheet (this will be necessary so that in the next office where you go to take tests, just compare your signature, in the same place  you will be asked to duplicate it).
At the secretary you will need to pay a fee of $275. You can do this in cash or by credit card.

The secretary will give you an invoice to attach to your documents.  She will also keep a duplicate of the invoice and documents. After the secretary, you go down to the -1 floor, where they will ask you to give urine, take blood from a vein and do a fluorography.

After that, you will again go up to the secretary, hand over your passport and papers that will be given in the laboratory and will be told to wait for the doctor to invite you.

The doctor asks first about vaccines since childhood.  If you have not been vaccinated with TdaP (diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis) in the last 10 years, he will offer you to do it immediately or when you arrive in the United States if you wish.  If you choose the second option, then you will be able to get this vaccine only after the wedding, but until you receive the final documents.

If you had rubella and varicella, then upon arrival in the USA you will need to be tested for antibodies (my case) or get a vaccine.

Next, they will check your eyesight, ask you to undress to your underwear, take your temperature, check your ears, and listen to your lungs. They will tell you to lie on your back and check your reflexes, just tap your hands and feet with a hammer.

The doctor will once again ask questions that we answered when registering on the doctolib website (do you have psychological problems, have you ever had an alcohol or drug addiction, do you smoke or not).

     This ended the reception.

Then they said that the tests are done in 1-2 days and sent to the USA.  Then the United States, when it brings you to the base, sends documents to Frankfurt.

Further, if the United States does not have time to send documents to your interview.  You take this invoice with documents to the interview.  This will generally confirm that you passed the medical commission.

The tests and examination by the doctor took 15 minutes.

The secretary was very friendly and eager to help.  The doctor did not ask any further questions.

My you completely, go every day to the site and check the dates of the apointment.  Since there are emergency dates for the coming days.  It's how lucky I am.

Yes, first you need to get confirmation that you have an appointment with the consul.  You will then need to bring a copy of this confirmation to the medical examination.

If your documents are already in Frankfurt and you are ready to book a place for an interview.  You need to register on the site.  For example, for Ukrainians https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua/index.html After you pay the consular fee, dates with free time will open and you can choose.

Maybe someone will find this information useful.  Every working day from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. there is a free place for an interview with the consul.  There is also an official response from the consulate that the interview can be held in Ukrainian or Russian.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that all medical examinations for a visa to the United States must be filled out by doctors of any country in English, since this package with the results will then be opened by a customs officer when you arrive to America.

As mentioned above, the form will almost surely be in English only. To add on, don't forget to request your copy of DS-3025 (vaccination record) - you will need it later for AOS! They're supposed to give you a copy, but just in case they forget - don't be shy to ask for it.

I also urge those who will (relatively) soon be in the US to research what you need to do after arrival. For example, applying for SSN:

Also, I have been checked on the site doctorlib.de if there were any free places for the most important dates and I was lucky, on April 22 there were three free places.  So, I advise everyone to check periodically, perhaps you are also lucky.

Earlier we read that it is impossible to get tested in another country.  But my fiancé wrote a letter with this question, we are waiting for an answer.

I have already studied this issue.  The fact is that now, due to the large number of Ukrainians, this process takes a lot of time + to obtain a status for temporary protection, I need to look for those who will register me in their housing.  It is very uncomfortable.  Since the question is only in the timing of the medical board.

There is another option to go to the German Embassy and ask to extend your stay in Europe for more than 90 days.  But it's such a bureaucracy🤦🏼‍♀️  I don't know how long it will take either.

Thanks for your reply.  In Germany, medical examinations are accepted only in two cities in Berlin and Frankfurt.  In both cities there is a very long queues, more than 2 months.

I know that passing a medical examination in other countries was not allowed.  If something has changed, is there an idea where this information can be found?
