  1. Good choice with Popeyes and congratulations!
  2. Yeah, I still wouldn't use it as a guideline for anything, but the numbers I'm seeing (12-14 months for I-130) are way closer to the average timeline than the previous estimate. Will continue to be a pain point for people, I fear.
  3. Please do yourself a favor and ignore this number. While it may be more accurate now, it has just served as a source of frustration for everyone that anxiously watches it tick down.
  4. At least the numbers are much more accurate now. The numbers they were giving us before was a huge false hope red flag, unfortunately.
  5. The new number is a lot more accurate. I think they might have fixed the estimate. The old number was extremely unlikely, which is why a lot of people recommended ignoring it. As usual I'd recommend to just ignore that tab entirely and try my best not to "watch the pot boil" so to speak. Fingers crossed that things speed up, though!
  6. I just decided to ignore that tab completely as it seems it hasn't been accurate for anybody. You should be getting relatively close though, looking at March & February filers.
  7. Reminder that in the Philippines this can depend entirely on which agent you're dealing with and what day it is
  8. If she has to go back to the Philippines and leaves for the US, they may ask for the CFO stamp which would require a ROM.
  9. Did you reach out to psaserbilis.com or PSA itself? What email address did you send to and what was your message? We're trying to get this sorted out as well. Thanks!
  10. Curious as to what y'all sent in your emails to get a response. When we were applying for a K-1 and were way outside of the normal timeline, our representative never replied to us. Then again... Oklahoma.
  11. So far, no. We requested from psaserbilis.com.ph again, so we'll see. Also emailed DFA but haven't received a reply in over a week (shocking, I know)
  12. We have similar timelines here. Our CR1 is still months off at least, so we'll probably be okay, but it's frustrating having to wait for something that's not even important for the US immigration process...
  13. Seconding Schwab. I have no issues using my investors checking account here. ATM does charge a fee initially but it gets refunded fairly quick FYI. Maintaining US credit cards is a bit more tricky. Some of them have worked, some haven't. My Apple card works just fine here, but a few of my others do not. Seems to be hit or miss. However, I maintain a US address in Oklahoma during my time here. PO Box & use my parents' address for physical. I'd recommend applying for 13A / SRRV visa while abroad OR arrive with a balikbayan stamp and apply then. Renewing endlessly is a hassle I'd never want to go through ever again. Once you're a permanent resident, the only annoying part is renewing your ACR card every (5?) years and coming into a BI office every year for your annual report. The annual report used to be a much more annoying process, but it's become fairly easy (like... 5 minutes in and out), especially at field offices like SM Aura BGC.
  14. Is this sputum requirement now a permanent thing? Jeez...
  15. We submitted a request for a PSA copy of the marriage certificate again, hopefully it's been digitized and sent to the Philippines by now. Originally approved September 6th. Will follow up here. We got a CENOMAR last time we tried via Serbilis.
  16. Update: We checked via Serbilis if we could get the PSA copy of the marriage certificate, but we received a CENOMAR (certificate of no marriage) instead. We received the signed copy of ROM back in September. I'm not really sure how long it takes for the PSA copy to be available in the Philippines, but I'm a little anxious about it now with all that's going on with regards to the Utah marriages. We will probably keep trying Serbilis every month until we get the certificate, just in case the government is just slow.
  17. There's very likely little chance of this going through, I'm sorry.
  18. No movement here, just wanted to see if anyone's had any movement with or without K3. USCIS profile has an estimate of 3 months (I know it's pretty meaningless) for Vermont. If only!
  19. I feel very lucky that we were able to get ours approved in September (sent in July) - we are waiting for the certificate to be "digitized" apparently before we can receive a PSA copy, so I'm still a little nervous about it. We'll know in a few weeks and I'll drop a status update in here. I'm sorry to all that are having to go through this right now. Philippine bureaucracy is legitimately the most frustrating thing I've ever dealt with in my life, having lived here for nearly 15 years.
