I cannot imagine her announcing running in 2024 and not garnering all the votes from all walks of life in the Democratic camp. How does Trump go against her if this does pan out? The public like her. I remember on my way back from Italy in 2019 I bought a copy of “Becoming” at SeaTac, that time believing, perhaps I can relate to her being a black woman. Nope. I gave that book away as soon as I could. I could not relate to her at all. Born and raised in London is not the same as being born and raised in America. At all. Anyway, I digress… Interesting. Hello again 🙂 I believe the processing time is when you submit your application and since USCIS has already let you know via EMMA that your interview has been waived, as @Crazy Cat stated the GC should be the next step. Immigration truly takes patience and I’m sure as you’re so close to approval, it must be difficult. In time I hope you can update with your good news soon.

I don’t know. I hope you hear soon though! We filed my AOS October 2021. Apart from the EAD card I received in April, there has been no other update. We are quietly hoping we get approved after our 2nd wedding anniversary next summer so I get a 10 year GC.It will be what it will be. I’m just thankful to be with my husband. Hello! Have you tried looking up processing times on the uscis website? That will give you an idea as to how long you may be waiting at your local field office. It’s been over a year since I filed and I am quietly hoping for an approval after our second year wedding anniversary next summer to get a 10 year GC. Don’t get me wrong if we get the GC earlier and it is a conditional, so be it😁

I was unsure where to post this, so thought here would be best. Mods please move if need be. I am posting concerning a friend. His wife left for vacation to The Philippines from Texas about a month ago and took their youngest son. (My friend has another son from a previous relationship) She and the son in The Philippines are USCs. He was born here and she became a USC I believe through her marriage (I could be wrong) My friend has found out that she wants a divorce and is not returning back from her trip with their son. Via fb messenger. He noticed she left enough money in their bank account for him to pay bills for a month (she earned more than him working in the medical field), wiped out their savings account and is trying to sell the house he lives in with his other son. Is there anything he can do even with this distance in getting his son back? He informed me tonight that he didn’t see it coming and learned she stopped payments for bills a month before they left, at the airport wishing them a good trip, he suspected nothing. Until he checked bank accounts after her fb message a few weeks later. He’s unable to reach her as wifi is spotty (I’m unsure where exactly she’s located) Any feedback is appreciated.

It’s been a little over a year since my husband filed the I-130 so who knows? When I filed my AOS a few months after I got a RFE re the I-130 and it was from NBC. I’m assuming it’s there until it is sent to my local field office in El Paso.

Not yet! Very, very thankful to have my EAD & SSN and have, since April. Also I do believe since we're AOS, the I-485 trumps the I-130. I hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong on that. I've always understood the process that way though🙂 Hope all is well with you while you wait.

Thank you for checking in♥️ Good to read you, yet frustrated with you as you’re still in limbo re your EAD even after a couple of expedites😟 I want to encourage you as difficult as it is waiting and seeing others getting approved ahead of us, especially those who have filed in 2022 it appears, one thing I am learning with this process is that it is like a marathon in terms of one’s attitude of mind and not a 100 meter dash race! Goodness it’s very difficult to wait especially when one wants to work and get other pieces of ID if you live in a State that requires such. I’m learning, along with you all how long and patience-enduring this process truly is. I hope you hear soon. I only wanted to add my own wait time for my EAD to encourage you🤗 Who knows? Perhaps you may not get your EAD and go straight to the interview stage or lack of one? I’ve noticed on Reddit as well as on here, there are a sprinkling of cases being approved without interview. Keep your head up and breathe. I promise, you WILL get to the other side of this. We all will🌻 Greetings to all still waiting 🥰
