  1. Great article! Thanks for sharing! Just earlier this morning hubby and I heard about the situation in Oregon on the radio. What a mess! We also learned there are a couple of pilots - one in NYC currently with a little over 2,000 artists and the other in SFO with 55 transgender people, who will be getting a similar “handouts”. The pilots I think they mentioned will last until 2026 which begs the question, how do you cut these pilots off when people see what others are getting for free? Once you start…all the best trying to remove it Homelessness is real. I just don’t think handing $$$s out to vulnerable people, where some have been abused or have troubling histories with mental health, will have the capacity to know how to effectively use those funds. I don’t believe they need free cash, instead they need resources to help them, especially those with troubling chemical dependency🤷‍♀️
  2. I wish there was an angry emoji to check against your post. The Lancet which WAS considered a highly respectable and notable medical journal is now best used to line cat boxes😠 Appreciate your use of the word activists! Yes because prior to March 2020 there was natural immunity and for some reason when the race was on for the “vaccine” that went right out of the window! Out of the mouths of some so-called highly intelligent people, among them science himself, Fraudi, doctors and others, natural immunity no longer existed!! Poof! Just like that! Gone! INSTEAD if you took this “vaccine” all would be well with your immunity. You’d never get sick they said, you can’t spread it, they said, you won’t need a mask because you have it’s protection they said. All I see on commercial breaks is that Paxlovid and I want to scream!!! They. Can’t. Stop. With. This. Agenda. They will NEVER admit that what they did worldwide was harmful. Never!
  3. Thanks for that. I am not surprised as some of these Blue States want what they want right?
  4. Interesting to note how badly she did as the first mayor to serve one term in Chicago since the 1980s. https://blockclubchicago.org/2023/02/28/mayor-lori-lightfoot-loses-reelection-bid-you-dont-always-win-every-battle/ Voters have bounced a sitting mayor for the first time in nearly four decades in Chicago. Election night results showed Mayor Lori Lighfoot in third place, with about 16 percent of the vote. She conceded in a speech about 8:30 p.m. after failing to make it out of the crowded field of candidates to secure a spot in the April 4 runoff election.
  5. The people showed up in Chicago and voted her out with her “deadly pandemic” rhetoric and woke agenda!
  6. Yes. Thank you ☺️ I hope you’re doing good and all is well with you and life as a LPR is grand!
  7. Hello, nice to read you😀 It’s surely teaching me patience, all the waiting we must do huh? I hope you hear soon. Thanks for your kind words🌺 We have a ton of bonafides and just waiting on a couple of documents then we’ll get them to the field office. I do believe that is the silver lining in this, both our I-130 and I-485 are at the field office.
  8. We got a NOID (Notice Of Intent to Deny) for the I-130. Letter clearly outlines why - lack of marital bonafides, that we’re already gathering to reply both online and via mail. Remaining hopeful although very cautious that this will be it. Should we mess this up we will have to re-file all over again! I hope y’all hanging in there♥️
  9. Hello all👋🏿 Well this morning around 6am USCIS alerted me via text that they had taken action on my case and to sign into my account. 450 days after my first “actively reviewing”, it is actively being reviewed as of February 22nd. Not expecting much as I cannot request an inquiry until April. Anything can happen. Quietly hoping for a mid-June approval AFTER our 2nd year wedding anniversary. Over on the lawfully app there appears to be approvals for a few from 2021, so I will continue to wait patiently🙏🏿 How is everyone else who are still waiting? Drop a line if you’re still out there🌺
  10. 🧐 There needs to be an angry emoji added along with the others as these threads are making my blood boil! How in the tight-curl-of-my-afro did this dude make it on this Committee? Schwab has got his minions everywhere it seems🤨
  11. 😠Indeed! This from the article resonated with me. When my youngest brother got sick with Covid I was thrilled telling him that he’s naturally vaccinated against it. Mere months later he got the shot as he was going to be fired from his driving job in England. I. Was. Mad. Of all my family I am the lone one who didn’t get the shot😔Still SO very sad that they all couldn’t see what I did when this all went down in March 2020… Truly appreciated this from the article: Vaccine mandates were predicated on a lie–and a lie that Fauci and others KNEW was a lie. It’s not like they didn’t know the science. They simply lied about it. They censored people who told the truth. They forced millions to take an experimental drug with no studies on long-term medical complications. They got people fired, canceled, and destroyed based upon a claim that was false.
  12. W O W. I had NO idea how bad he was until reading this article. All I recall was the horror of him running everywhere I read conservative news, yet I didn’t join the dots. I knew he had suffered a stroke yet I was not aware how serious this stroke was. I know someone personally who has suffered a horrific stroke and she’s younger than me. A nurse by profession who now walks with a limp as she had terrible blood clots in her left leg and couldn’t move her arm when it all happened. She’s now on hypertension meds and other steroids due to her incredibly high BP. We know that there is a high chance she may have another stroke in less than 6 months. It doesn’t look good for her, we continue to pray. Fetterman’s condition is serious. I truly hope, as I lay aside my political stance, that he gets help and steps down. He is NOT capable to do the job he was voted in to do whether his wife believes it or not. The fact that he needs assistance with the computer and such is very very concerning. How does he communicate effectively with his electorate?
  13. Interesting. I wondered when this was going to happen especially after Pfizer’s response to the video scandal of one of theirs exposing what was going on behind the scenes with the virus. Not surprised sadly.
  14. Good read☝🏿 As a Brit, SOTU has always reminded me of America’s version of the Queen’s Christmas message😄I know! I know! It’s NOT exactly the same. Looking at it closely now though, these last couple of years, there’s so much pomp in the House! I’m in agreement with the days of old in that surely this would be better as a written message but alas, as the article stated, TV has taken care of that!
  15. Congratulations to you and your parents🌺 I can feel your relief!!!! Been lurking on this group for a long time and so thrilled for y’all!
  16. I don’t understand this at all!!!! That couple is crazy! This☝🏿🤣😂😅 That comment by Rev Al Sharpton in the article is EVERYTHING🤣
  17. Totally missed this update😀 Wahoo!!✨Congratulations! I’m sure you’re celebrating tonight🙌🏿
  18. Congratulations on your I-130 approval😀 Here’s to an approval for you soon! Enjoy the rest of your vacation✨
  19. Congratulations on your approval😀 I’m liking the steady movement our group is getting! Let’s hope for some more🙏🏿♥️
  20. Congratulations!!!! So happy that your visa journey is finally over😀🌺
  21. Hey @tmw welcome to the thread! This group has been quiet for a while and I find myself cheering from the sidelines for those who are still waiting from 2019 and 2020, along with others from the same filing year as us. One thing I know for sure with this immigration journey is patience, patience and more patience! Understanding how antiquated the US Immigration service is has settled one thing for me, I’ll get to the end. One day. I try to spend as much time living my life, rather than checking daily (as I used to in the beginning!) my online account. Like you, as soon as I found out when I can file an enquiry, I became even more annoyed. (Although, granted the wait time in El Paso is nothing compared to yours) There is nothing I can do to make this process faster. I am SO thankful that I am with my husband and family so that lessens the sting a whole lot. I’m praying for our approval after our 2nd wedding anniversary this summer, to bypass the ROC (removal of conditions with a conditional GC) however when it comes, it comes. I’m sorry your wait is such a significant one😔All I can tell you is, you WILL get your approval. Here’s hoping you get a surprise sooner rather than much much later. Oh and another thing is guaranteed with that long wait you have with the Brooklyn FO, is a 10 year GC. Try and look at the bright side when you can, as difficult as the wait can be. It helps make the wait a little more bearable, that is for sure what I’m finding🌺
  22. It is ok to put NA on the forms to answers that do not apply to you. All the best!
