AN HONEST LAWYER
 
An investment counselor decided to go out on her own.  She was shrewd and diligent, so business kept coming in, and pretty soon she realized that she needed an in-house counsel.
 
Excited at her runaway success, she began to interview young lawyers.
 
"As I'm sure you can understand," she started off with one of the first applicants, "in a business like this, our personal integrity must be beyond question."
 
She leaned forward.  "Mr. Peterson, are you an honest lawyer?"
 
"Honest?" replied the job prospect.  "Let me tell you something about honesty.  Why, I'm so honest that my father loaned me $15,000 for my education, and I paid back every penny the minute after my very first case."
 
Bowled over by the apparent honor of the applicant, she exclaimed, "Impressive.  And what sort of case was that?"
 
The lawyer squirmed in his seat and admitted, "He sued me for the money."

i-360 approved on 8/31/2021(but the letter received in October, 2021)
i-485 transferred 10/29/2021
REF for i-693 6/2022
RFE was submitted 7/7/2022
no update on my case status online for about 2 months..
New card is being produced on my i-485 status 9/3/2022
 
wish more approvals rain here!

I submitted my medical rfe in early July but no update till yesterday. 
as always, I opened my phone and checked my case. And..I just got the notification of “new card is being produced“ on my i-485.
 
when I get the approval and receive the card, I will update….!

My medical RFE was mailed on Monday.  The USPS tracking status shows that the mail was delivered on Tuesday at 12.30pm. 
Today at exactly 2pm I received this:

Firstly, all thanks be given to God almighty for his abundant GRACE  over my life and for allowing me to end this complicated vawa journey in this manner. 
Secondly, thanks to this great forum for had enabled me to go through this process with great supports,  more untimely tools and less stress. 
To round it all, my great appreciations to people like @Demise @sandraj @Stillwinning!!!😊 @TBoneTX @shiva32 @Pinkrlion and other valuable members.
May God, through Jesus-christ his Son,  continues to bless you abundantly and more approvals to the followers of this great thread. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

working without authorization is not an issue if vawa is approved. But if it is denied, you will be on record telling USCIS that you worked without authorization.

usually within a month it should move to your field office. that's just  my observation. 
You can always get in touch with your congress person to get the update.

My VAWA was recently approved and I was wondering what to expect next. 
In general, how long does it take for them to transfer your case and get a RFE for the I-485?
