The 5-year filing requirements are less rigorous than are the 3-year requirements. Read the instructions carefully, interpret them literally, and answer/respond completely and honestly.

It was a lot less work than we'd figured, one big pile already semi-sorted previously man. We also went through the various drawers under the bar, clean & consolidate we man. A very heavy trash-bag was created, hope bag doesn't break man. Much more recycling was created, curbsided bin extremely heavy man. We must now clear the little stuff from the bar and wipe it down, dusty man. Next will be our kitchen table, piles of recent papers there man. Then will come the moving of piles on the floor to appropriate rooms/locales, out-of-place man. Then will come the moving of bowls et al. from atop the glass cooktop in the kitchen, declutter man. You can read recent reviews by, and send messages to, others who have recently gone through the consulate. USCIS has its specific requirements for adjudicating the I-129F petition. Each consulate then applies country-specific standards for the K-1 visa interview. For tough consulates (in high-fraud countries), we recommend "front-loading" the petition package. This includes extra "evidence of a bona fide relationship" such as the items that you suggest. Including ALL chats is overkill; supply a few meaningful examples over time, if you can. Because you apparently can't, a sample of the chat backup list can suffice, if you need it. Your letter of explanation should be enough, for now. (Avoid including anything where you playfully call each other "husband/wife" or "hubby/wifey"!) The documents about the denied tourist visa probably won't help. The consulate will know about it anyway. It's utterly natural to be nervous about this part of the process! Unless you need a crisp copy per OldUser, or want one, you can sigh and try to put it out of your mind. Another avenue would be to contact your Congressman's or Senator's office to see if they can get a fresh one for you without your having to pay. I imagine they'd be happy to help.

1. Asking for your passports and fresh records is a very good sign. Approval might be imminent. 2. This might delay things considerably. 3. Update it, and be sure that the new residents at your old address are aware of the mail, just in case.
