We then consumed a plate of Many (2+2+1) hard-boiled eggs, ingest we man. We think that our daily protein requirement has probably been satisfied, conclude we man. A siesta was then taken, zzz we man. Dropped a bag of office/cosmetic goodies at ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s, donate we man. Replenished Powerade Zero (grape) supply at supermarket, replenish we man. Loaded T-B.-mobile with donations for Wednesday, load we man: -- marble-topped wooden table, heavy man -- 2 tennis rackets, such a racket man -- NIP mattress-protector, full bed man -- Many hangared ex-Mrs.-T-B. leftover clothes, in closet all this time man -- giant bag of purses, blouses, & boots, on downstairs floor all this time man -- large bag full of clean/untorn grocery bags for in-store cashiers to use, always appreciated man We will purge our own clothing soon enough, going to be a staggering amount of that man. We off-cleaned the last contents and massive dust from the downstairs bar, major milestone man. We hope to keep it cleared of clutter from now on, must change habits mindfully we man. I would directly telephone any CBP port here in the U.S. to ask for advice. Go here and scroll down a bit to "Locate a Port": https://www.cbp.gov/about/contact/ports Maybe pick a smaller port and call around midday on a weekday. Explain to the agent who answers that you need definitive information about reentry for a (permanent resident?) after longer than a 6-month absence. If the agent is busy, ask for the shift supervisor. Tell them the visa type that your then-wife used to enter, and succinctly explain. Then, pick a completely different CBP port and call it with the same queries. If the answers match, you can pretty much rely on the information. If answers differ, call a third port. Do this, and be sure to return to this thread with your findings. Good luck to you, and prayers for ex-mom-in-law. P.S. Update your VJ timeline if information is incomplete.

I'd recommend waiting for the RFE. Supply what they ask, then perhaps include extra "evidence of bona fide relationship" for the consulate to see. The 5-year filing requirements are less rigorous than are the 3-year requirements. Read the instructions carefully, interpret them literally, and answer/respond completely and honestly.
