Hey Chancy, I am not on K1, I got married in US and filled for AoS.

Ok, so yesterday I got my update via the app.. My I130 got a status update to "actively reviewed" AGAIN and same with I485... And today my I130 was approved... and my I485 still being reviewed. Not sure what does it mean really. Do you think having I130 approved means there is a chance for an interview?

Hey guys, I got my RFE in may, after submitting I am still waiting... However the status of I-130 changed to Actively Reviewing 4 days ago... My application was received December 2021. Not sure what that means but... I had my I-131 expedited and I am happy, but I believe there are many people still waiting for EAD and AP which I find very annoying ! I hope something will move forward soon guys !

@Yorkie62 YES YES YES ! Sorry, my intention was never to suggest to kinda go over the system ! I did have a valid reason to expedite my request unfortunately sometimes it's not possible to provide documentation if necessary or we might think that our proof is not enough . It was more to encourage people who are afraid or not sure if to reach for help from USCIS. I know how stressful the whole process is. So yes, kudos to what you wrote, I just really hope that things will move forward with everyone's cases

Hi guys ! I just wanted to share my story and give you some hope ! Long story short, I filled in Dec 2021 and currently my I-485 is being reviewed (RFE to be reviewed ;)) . I got my EAD card at the end of March (It was fast if you think about it) but the document I was looking for the most was AP. As I did not get combo card, my AP was stuck on Case Received without any online account (MSC). I looked through this forum for some other cases but not everyone was very desperate or needed to travel. I am fine with waiting for GC as long as I can work really. Getting to the point here After rebooking my tickets several times, getting stressed and refreshing my USCIS 'check the status case' website, I got the courage to try to expedite it. (thanks @Yorkie62) I did not have any backup documentation so it was my one shot and I thought what is the worst that can happen? They will say no. I am writing this post to encourage you guys and try to fight, if there is any chance of success ! I even did a consultation with a lawyer who told me : it is too late to expedite it if you want to travel in September, so there is nothing I can help you with. Thank God I did not pay him more and wasted the money! Always go with your gut ! USCIS process and their timelines are sooooo unfair. I see people getting interviews and they are filled in April or May. If you are stuck, pick up that phone and try to get through and talk to someone. I know we all should be patient and wait but sometimes it's more of good fortune with immigration rather than 'following the timeline'. Nobody is gonna cancel your application just because you contacted them and asked for an expedition or clarification. I might have been lucky, but I rather try and fail then stress everyday and feel down that nothing is moving forward. I am over the moon and waiting for that AP to arrive in my mailbox so I can book my flights ! Good luck to all of you guys ! I hope things will move faster for everyone.

Hey, I would contact them, on the USCIS website it states they have 60 days to response to your RFE. I have mine evidence uploaded online as well, it has been only 3 weeks but if I won't receive anything after 2 months, I will call them to check.

CONGRATS !!! I also called to expedite yesterday (131), so far my case status changed from 'case received' to 'case was updated to show fingerprints were taken' so I am a bit stressed, let's see if they ask me for any evidence. so happy that something is at least happening.

Did you get RFE for I-765? I got a RFE for I-485 and uploaded files online few days ago but I am sooooooo cofused, seems like there is so many cases where people wait to get response for RFE which is more than 3/4 months ! My AP is with MSC and case was received in Feb since then there is no response... I believe I will get a message if they gonna reuse my biometrics but there is nothing. Like nooooo movement. I am in FL but all cases are with National Benefits

oh, I hope it will go faster now ! at least someone had a look and finally approved it... when it comes to waiting and getting frustrated, any small movement is helpful ! will keep my fingers crossed for you

I wish I could but I doubt I have a valid reason, I wanna sell my place back home but I don’t have any documentation backing it up :( but thank you for this advice and reply 💜

Thank you for your answer! 😊I wasn’t aware, I just saw the article so I presumed it was true. it was not my case anyway, I stupidly applied for AP after I filled 485….

Thank you again for your kind words ! Since they stop producing combo cards to put more effort on EAD, I have a feeling all 131 petitions are lying somewhere in basement covered by dust and spiderweb lol. But yes, I need to think positive ! Have a good day

Thank you for your reply ! Gives me hope that someone was 'in my shoes'. I didn't know that I 'shouldn't get EAD with something missing, I also was sure RFE is coming before all biometrics and stuff (I had RFE for 765 but it was yellow)... It gives me some hope that they are working on my case but you know how it is... anxiety and stress coming through I can't help to think that AP is stuck in MSC and there is no online account for that.
