BREAKING: Panama Caves to Trump. Are You Tired of Winning Yet? [...] The news had barely settled before another bombshell dropped: Panama has backed down. Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino announced that after his meeting Rubio, his government will not renew its 2017 memorandum with China on the "Belt and Road Initiative." He also stated that Panama will seek to terminate its agreements with the Chinese government ahead of their scheduled end dates in 2027 and 2028. Liberal objections to mass deportations go hilariously wrong [...] The stunning pace and vast scope of the Trump administration's mass deportation program appear to have driven otherwise rational liberals to the brink of madness. For a party that spent much of the last decade lecturing us on the evils of systemic racism in America, it's odd that their primary argument for allowing illegal immigrants to remain in the United States is, "Who will pick the crops?" Democratic strategist Jenna Arnold earned the prize for the most cringe-worthy statement. During a CNN panel discussion on how the deportations will affect businesses that rely on illegal immigrants for cheap labor, she remarked, "I can't wait until American women can't get blueberries for their smoothies." Jonathan Turley. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spoiling for a fight: Why challenging birthright citizenship is a win-win for Trump This week, the Trump administration doubled down in its fight against birthright citizenship. The usual alliance of pundits, professors and press lined up to declare any challenge to birthright citizenship as absurd. Yet the administration seemed not only undeterred, but delighted. There is a reason for that euphoria: They believe that they cannot lose this fight. I hadn't heard about Todd, but bravo! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Why big leftist TV anchors biting the dust is a gain for America What do you call it when three big leftist TV anchors bite the dust within the span of a few days? A good start. First it was Norah O'Donnell at CBS, then Jim Acosta at CNN and now it's Chuck Todd at NBC. Who says all the news is bad? Their loss of prime pulpits is America's gain. Despite their different networks and roles, the common denominator is that they all believed they were too important to merely deliver the news. It is Sunday! Time for our Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke: =========================================== A BLONDE AVOIDS THE BREATHALYZER A blonde was pulled over by the police. "Step out of the car," said the cop. "I am going to need you to take a breathalyzer test." "I can't," said the blonde. "I have very bad asthma, and it can set off an attack." "All right," said the cop, "then you're going to have to take a blood test." "Can't do that, either," said the blonde. "I'm a hemophiliac. If a wound is opened, I won't stop bleeding, and I could bleed to death." "OK," the cop answered. "Then I will need a urine sample." "Sorry," said the blonde. "I also have diabetes, and it could push my sugar count really low." "Fine!" said the cop. "So just come on out and walk a straight line for me." "I can't do that, either," said the blonde. "Why not?" asked the cop. "Because I'm completely drunk! I could go to jail!" -

Columbia Activists Cement Toilets for Gaza The anti-Israel activists at Columbia have really stepped up their vandalism game. Usually they are content to spray paint a few buildings or overturn some furniture. This week they have escalated to pouring cement into all the toilets in a building which could result in thousands of dollars in damage that takes significant time to repair. They posted video of themselves on Instagram along with a lengthy description of their actions. [...] https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2025/01/31/columbia-activists-cement-toilets-for-gaza-n3799358 -
