    when you said " we think that only a small portion of their affidavit was sent" what does it mean? are u talking about after you sent the application by mail, and then when you checked online after USCIS upload it ? what you said its not clear

    just wanted to share my experience. im in removal proceeding ( case still open), its really long story if you look on my previous post u will understand we filed i-485 in february 2022 and 2 days ago i just got the interview letter for next month, and on the top of the letter it said " initial interview" but im prepared to be grill regarding on our relationship ( stokes interview's style) im surprise for k1 to get stokes interview on their initial interview ur case definitely straight forward case, shouldnt be worried too much, just be prepared and reread all documents that you've been submitted. good luck !

    CR1 use i-130 form. so its not different. is the form that u use to apply for spouse visa

    What date is the surgeon sign the medical ? If its over a year, you need to re do it again

    I will shop for another lawyer. You probably need a lawyer because of misdemeanor charge but ur lawyer has super outdated info. That K1 stamp thing has long gone many years ago. i will go for CR1, cheaper and faster at the moment. Way more superior than K1 ( K1 is not faster anymore )

    K1 is not number one priority with USCIS. Theres many many other form also thats backlogged

    yes, i file 1040 ( not EZ) and use AGI ( following what my lawyer told me) and had no issue. my interview will be next month i agree with @Crazy Cat and just follow what RFE instruction

    @olivia77thats the plan. i have everything that shows proof of cohabition. this stack = continue the evidence that i submmited 18 months ago ( i-130 standlone) i also going to bring 2 accordion bags for copies of everything that ( just in case ) needed

    Im planning to bring this additional of evidence ( with cover letter to explain the index ) do you think its overkill? The reason I put in index so the IO can pick and choose themself interview is on 6/28

    do you have green card already? are you doing AOS or consular processing? if your biological son is only 2 years, he should be american when he was born did you already marry when you deliver the baby?

    Proofs that you see each other ( boarding passes, hotel bookings etc ) more time spend together the better. Pictures with friends / families.

    If your state touch border with Canada, try to look up for nexus. U will need to do the interview for that. It’s $50/ 5 year and u will get global entry aswell. Cheaper than the global entry

    Yes ur partner is the main sponsor still. So 2 different form for your partner + joint sponsor

    Waste of money, time and energy to even try F1 visa again. Multiple people told you that’s a no go. It is a really no go. Personally studying in Germany is way more superior than studying in US IMO.

    you only have 1 SSN assigned for life. you can remove the restriction on your SS to SSA office once your GC approved/on hand.

    interview scheduled ( dont know the interview date, i looked at uscis account on document tab and nothing) 02/03/22 : package sent 02/07/22 : PD 02/09/22 : biometric reused + case is being actively reviewed by USCIS 05/19/22 : interview was scheduled ( notification )
