I-130 is different than CR-1? I already gave up on the K-1 I need no more convincing on that lol

Ah so probably best we don’t use them receipts as evidence? I mean it was my idea to help and she tells me She can go back to work all the time otherwise if it was her idea I would not be doing it lol. But her jobs there is lucky to pay what is 60 dollars a week here so yeah really don’t mind helping. beating that pay is easy lol plus with out the Wi-Fi we would barely get to talk so I pay that rather she work or not because of that. but I get the point. I was thinking it makes it look like I’m not the American getting paid for Fake marriage but instead it makes me look like the sucker American getting used lol so that as evidence seems kinda loose loose type of deal.

Plus WiFi is way cheaper than constantly getting data for her phone. It was the bad lawyer that said it would help look like I’m not getting paid to marry her if I’m paying her. Yeah I definitely learned that lawyer was some bs from all of you guys thanks alot to all. I’m definitely going to go back and get married in Mexico then come back a file on my own. Since it’s me the USC with the misdemeanor and not her and I just need my court papers saying car is closed I will just do it all my self. And if I want to be lazy and not fill out forms my self maybe use boundless or something like that. But I’ll probably just do it my self because after dealing with this lawyer I don’t think I can trust any thing other my self and asking questions up here. It’s to many people Sauk g she wrong for it not to be true, especially when I remember her saying very nervously she had not done on of these cases in a while.

Yeah I made a typo that made you misread I think. But thanks great advice I’m so glad I didn’t pay her then fees and start the K-1 before I found this. I feel like this really saved us a lot of time and money

Thanks a lot to you and everyone that help on this post. You all made me and me fiancé very happy and helped us dodge a bullet with that lawyer. Now I understand why she sounded so nervous when she said it had been a while since she done one of these types of cases. Should have saw that red flag better then. Yeah definitely don’t need one for that. I’m sure I got to go to court house my self to get them any way. So basically I just got to go back to Mexico , get married there, and then come back and do the packet for CR-1 spousal visa and all our proof. Then send packet in and wait?

Ok yeah they gave me probation and made me pay court cost and restitution for the bad check amount. I paid all that and finished my probation with no violations i might add like 2 years ago. So basically I just go to the court I got In trouble with and get the papers proving that and that the case is closed and put that in the packet after I go back to Mexico to get married since I just went to get engaged and came back because of that lawyers information lol

Yeah I see her information is wrong or at least out dated. And it makes sense now that I think about it because she did tell me it has been a while since she did a case like this when we talked. That should have been my red flag I guess. Glad I haven’t paid her fees yet. So how big of a role is a lawyer going to play with me having the misdemeanor for a bad check two or three years ago??? Because I mean i can do paper work print pictures and documents and put a packet together and mail it. Like who can’t do that lol. But what role will lawyer help on the fact of me having that misdemeanor. She has no crime record there. She had been married before but like i said we already have her proof of divorce papers from there I just send that in the packet. My main question now is about my misdemeanor.

Also lawyer told us when she came to America on K-1 visa if she lands in jfk that they give a stamp in your passport there that lets her work here with out that wait…

So basically keep the lawyer because of me (the US citizen) having a misdemeanor? BUT do the get married in Mexico first part and don’t do the K-1? The lawyer was telling me that the marriage in Mexico wouldn’t be respected here or something like that too, that and her saying K-1 visas gets her in America quicker was the only reason we was going the K-1 route and not getting married in Mexico first. After reading this I wonder if if she told me do K-1 visa just to charge me more or is she just incompetent altogether…

Ok she who is from Mexico does. It have criminal record. It is me the US who has misdemeanor. So you think definitely get a lawyer because of my misdemeanor?
