Had our interview in Houston today. It was lame and disappointing. We were interviewed together, and the only question regarding our relationship was 'how did you meet?'. Immigration officer asked if I am working, and made sure the information on my application was still up to date. That's it! No proof of our relationship or any other documents needed. She said my medical expired and I need a new one, but I asked her to double check (medical was from Sept 2019) and she then figured out it was still good. I was not approved on the spot because she wanted to do another security check. I asked for the I 551 stamp but didn't get it  A few hours later, status changed to 'Case was approved'

Yeees! Got the letter today. Interview is on 5/20. Now let's collect all those documents that they want to see

Still waiting on any action or interview date for our case filed in January 2020; lived in New York and then moved to New Jersey (USCIS office is Newark); is anyone else on a similar time-frame with either of these offices? I called USCIS some weeks ago; they said my case is outside of expected processing times and that they'll send me an e-mail with an update; but nothing has happened yet

I’m a November 2019 New York City filer. Had my interview today (My first interview was canceled because of bad weather(snowstorm in 2020). The officer was very friendly (he apologized for the wait. 10:45am appointment but didn’t get to us until 11:35am) The interview went smoothly, only questions he asked were Yes/No based off the I-485 form and when did my wife and I move in together. He didn’t ask my wife any questions other than her name as it appears on her ID. He asked for a few pictures from our album and some joint statement documents which he kept. He said we were the first good couple he’d seen for the day so far. Got approved on the spot. One hour later website updated to “New Card Being Produced”  

Just got the update that my interview was scheduled. Now waiting for the letter with the date. I'm over the moon 🥳🥳🥳
 
The update came 30 minutes after I paid $13 to send my ead renewal application in...

NYC (Manhattan) Field Office here. Filed Sep 2019, interview just got scheduled.

Following this thread. Recently submitted AOS in July, got RFIE'd and waiting for updates. Not sure if my FO will be Brooklyn/ Manhattan.
Would also like to know if there have been anyone recently scheduled for biometrics post-covid lockdown.

Where in ny? My interview got rescheduled for October, FO is Long Island.

We just got it in the mail today. The interview is in exactly two weeks, on Aug 24th. We’re in St. Louis, MO.

Had our interview today. It took only a few minutes and we were approved. We were told we’d have the green card Within 1-2 weeks.

So after 4 long months of waiting it looks like Albany Field Office is starting to reschedule interviews. 
 
On July 10, 2020 my USCIS online updated and I was excited to see that my new interview has been scheduled. Haven’t received the letter yet though, but that should be *hopefully* coming soon.
 
Wanted to share this to give some hope to others who are waiting. 
 
If your field office is the same one has your interview also been scheduled?

Finally! My combo card came in the mail today. 🎉🎉🎉 so happy after 17 days of waiting! Fingers crossed for all of you who are still waiting. 

Thank you 😊 well, ideally yes. In my case it just stuck on „card was mailed“ and after delivery it changed to „card was delivered“ and the tracking number. I suggest you get informed delivery from USPS. If someone sends a package to your address you’ll see it there Even tracking number. So don’t worry, if the status doesn’t change!

I don’t know, but I think if you got the EAD you don’t need the approval notice anymore. However I requested a duplicate just to make sure.

Hey all! Here is a little bit of good news for this thread  

"The chairwoman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security said Tuesday (July 7, 2020) that a supplemental bill to address the US Citizenship and Immigration Services funding shortfall caused by the pandemic will move through Congress this month in an effort to prevent the agency from furloughing about 70% of its staff on Aug. 3." Nothing is set in stone yet obviously, but based on the article it seems like lawmakers are starting to pay more attention to this issue. Keep emailing your state representatives (as I have done) to continue bringing attention to the USCIS budget shortfall in order to protect USCIS employees from potential furloughs, and ultimately, prevent more delays in immigration processing time for our loved ones!

I got approved on 06/16. Had status “Card was mailed to me” on 06/30 and got the card on 07/3.

I didn’t get a notice of approval. My lawyer got a courtesy notice, though. I guess they just lost mine. I requested a duplicate. Chronologically I got the SSN first and then the EAD Card.
