I had my interview today and it was approved on the spot! We went over the forms and that’s it. No questions about how we met, personal stuff whatsoever. I think it helped that my husband is in the army though. Good luck for you guys.

I just called again and spoke to another representative and he told me the same thing. He said that the GC is only to prove legal status here. But that I still need EAD and AP. I am seriously going crazy.

Alot of times the GC comes before the EAD and or the AP. My wife never got her EAD or AP just the GC. She is gainfully employed now. Don't call USCIS again about this issue they are just confusing you it seems. As what was pointed out to you several times you are good!

Well, I once called to inquire about my case. The super optimistic representative told me that everything was peachy and looking good and my application was outstanding. The week after that I got a RFE🙄My point is, don't even bother calling them. They are contractors who usually know nothing about immigration.

Once the Green Card is issued, the EAD and AP document are voided and useless (except as a souvenir as noted)......believe me.

So my timeline was the following:
June 23rd: documents received at USCIS
July 31st: biometrics appointment scheduled for august 24th.
August 24th: biometrics done and status changed to actively being reviewed.
October 20th: Interview scheduled
December 7th: Interview day!! 💃🏽
