  1. UPDATE TO MY TIMELINE 9/23/23 - Shipped through USPS 9/25/23 - Packet received at Phoenix lockbox 9/27/23 - I-751 added to my USCIS account, stating case was received. No pdf uploaded 10/2/23 - Received text with receipt number, stating I-797 letter will come in the mail 10/3/23 - Check cashed 10/4/23 - Status updated to "Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS", had notices uploaded on my account with the 48 month extension + a notice that my previous biometrics are being reused At the bottom of my extension letter it says my case ended up at the Texas Service center... and after checking the USCIS' processing times for TSC, I realized this might take a lot longer than I hoped for 🤣
  2. Wouldn't that mean your GC expired in January of this year? Also they have plenty of resources in the forum but also check the guides to see what documents are recommended to send in with your application. Best of luck!
  3. Hi fellow September filers! I sent in my application like a week ago and haven't received anything in the mail yet. When I filed my AOS 2 years ago I had an app that would send out notifications anytime there was a change with my case, does anyone know the name of that app? I'm tired of checking the website every 2 hours lol Here's my timeline 9/23/23 - Shipped through USPS 9/25/23 - Packet received at Phoenix lockbox 9/27/23 - I-751 added to my USCIS account, stating case was received. No pdf uploaded 10/2/23 - Received text with receipt number, stating I-797 letter will come in the mail They still haven't cashed my check.. Oh and my receipt number starts with IOE, I can't remember if that's supposed to be good or not. Finger's crossed for all of us this will be a speedy journey ☺️🤞
  4. I didn’t call, I used the chat function on the uscis website and asked to be talk to live agent. It only works M-F during business hours. They can’t tell you much though I think, but if you have biometrics or interview scheduled they should be able to tell you when before you receive the letter in the mail.
  5. Once you have your GC you don’t need the EAD/AP. You’re a resident already!
  6. It means exactly what it says. That they will notify you within 30 to 60 days if your application will be approved or not. At the moment, they are reviewing all evidence submitted and you are not approved (yet).
  7. Oh wow! I think once you get the I-693 deficiency notice, the next step is to be scheduled for the interview! I could be wrong but by looking at other’s timelines, it seems like it. Hoping you get your interview quickly! :) If you don’t submit the medical exam with your initial packet, they’ll send out a letter to let you know it’s missing and you need to bring it to the interview, or send it in later if interview is waived.
  8. It’s very quick and easy! Show up 15 min early, bring your notice and passport/DL and when they call you back you’ll take a quick picture (for your GC) and your fingerprints, they will ask you to write your signature on an electronic pad and that’s it. I was in and out in 15-20 minutes!
  9. I got an RFE October 8 (Friday), sent back the info they requested the very same day, and it said they received my additional evidence on October 12 and the same day the deficiency notice was sent out. So I think that’s what it means! Hopefully you’ll see some movement soon. What’s the processing time in Spokane? It says 9-12 months I think here in LA but it’s been faster than that for a lot of people so that might be the case for you as well.
  10. I received the deficiency notice and as soon as the interview was scheduled I went and did the medical exam and I brought the form with me this morning
  11. Hi August filers! Just wanted to give a quick update that we went in for our interview this morning and it was very quick and easy. We had to wait for 45 min before we were called back but the officer didn’t ask us any questions more than our basic info and if we brought in any more evidence, and then said he’ll update our account later and I should have the GC in hand in about 10 days! I’ll wait for the update on the uscis website before I update my timeline just in case, but it seems like we got approved and I feel so relieved! ☺️
  12. Oh yeah I could’ve gone through my PCP and get everything done with them but I was on a time crunch due to interview being scheduled quicker than I anticipated. If you have insurance I’d def get titer test and possible vaccines at a Drs office and just bring in the records for the medical exam, that will save you a lot of money. I know it varies depending on your insurance company but my vaccines would’ve been covered in full by them, I just didn’t have the time.
  13. I think it depends where you are located! I paid $449 for exam + vaccines (had to retake MMR and TDap because I couldn’t get my records from my home country). Just the exam was $199 and this was in the LA area. Just call around and see what the best deal is and look up the doctors on Yelp before going in. I advice you to schedule it ASAP because it took about two weeks for the office to finish the paperwork, and I heard that’s pretty standard no matter where you go. Good luck with everything!
