You're obviously welcome to try and expedite but I will point out the obvious and say everyone else is in the same position as you on this. If they expedite one person due to the coronavirus, then everyone is also technically entitled to it and the floodgates will open. So they will probably have a hard no stance to make sure they don't get a flood of expedite requests they can't handle.
 
 
Usually data like this is only accessible to employees on site. If all their workers were able to access it from machines outside of the building they worked, some of our most personal data that can be used to ruin our lives in home countries and elsewhere is easily accessible to malicious people. And imagine all the lawsuits against the government from that... At best, supervisors will be the only ones that might be with some type of remote access. Anything else is hugely incompetent data security.
 
 
Obviously don't mean to rain on anybody's wishful thinking or anything either. But I also don't want the rumor mill to start up cause no one has questioned either of these hopes, cause I'm in the same boat and would like to hope for these things too.

We are not far from celebrating our 1rst year as well and like you, we will be apart, sadly.
I was supposed to go visiting him but we figured we would hold on any flights for the moment to help the virus quiet a bit.
Like you, we have sent all papers early in February. So almost 6 now. 🤞🤞🤞

Totally OT maybe but this week some submissions from Jan 9 got DQ’d, one from the 15th... uh I hope they really are that far in this week that they’re working on dates 15 and upwards and if not, this is wracking my brain how their review process works at NVC!! >.<

I did not submit my DS5540 Public Charge Questionnaire but it was advised by my Lawyer to fill this out and bring it to the interview. 

Yours should be this week or next at max so best of luck. I’m at the end of the line with Jan 29 date 😭. I hope they keep a fast pace so Jan can be covered in March atleast!

So exciting to finally see NVC make a significant jump from one week to the next. As of today they're reviewing cases from Jan 4th 🙌🏻👏🏻

Hoping to hear something this week - we're on our 9th week waiting for a response on our first submission - 01/09/2020. 

Any DQs??? Still waiting around. Been 7 weeks today since we submitted our last document. I’m not really understanding all this waiting. It’s  very stressful and it’s very hard on the marriage. Literally, this makes no sense.... Anyone gone past 7 weeks or more on this???

My lawyer is saying like you (that everybody should fill this out prior to the interview and have it readily available, etc.). Unlike your lawyer, he says that a proof that we are doing what is needed to get a health insurance (like a quote for example) is sufficiant. But honestly, I trust your lawyer more than mine LOL and I think it is much safer to show all the papers that an international health coverage is to be signed, the day of the interview (unless for those who already have their itw planned and very soon).

They don’t seem to be picking up the pace at all... 

I know, I checked this morning as soon as I woke up and was so disappointed. I wait all week just to see they’ve only reviewed 6 days worth of cases in a week! 😭😭. 

Can’t believe I joined one of these threads in November and am still here....😫 and I thought I was free from Nebraskan speeds.
 
Hoping for a DQ this month because if I get a second RFE, I will lose it. Lol.
