Wow! Thanks for sharing. That is the first I have heard of a k1 maybe being able to be transferred. @Chauncey did you see this?

    Thank you!

I contacted the US embassy in Almaty to ask about transferring our K1. I was told we would be placed behind citizens of Kazakhstan, and the wait could be long. Moldova is the only embassy that would accept our transfer, but the fiancée need to be present in country for 14 days before allowed into the embassy for interview. They also will not mail the visa to Russia if approved.

So are you transferring your case to moldova?

So I had called about this and forgot to update my thread. The representative told me that it is likely a clerical error and it's not worth fixing formally, because the representative said that it cannot affect the application going forward.

Did you talk to a tier 2 representative?

Because I called today and the guy said he didn't know so he said he will have a tier 2 representative call me back about it

    Hello Everyone 😇

It’s so good to see most people receiving their approvals for those that filed in July 2020, makes me hopeful. Our received date was July 6th and Notice date was 14th, so just to clarify.. what date is the NOA1? Still awaiting news. Fingers crossed and will update when there’s some good news.  🌸

It would be July 6. The received date is what they go by

Thanks, yes I see it's for spousal and no K1, which I think was already said, darn!  I've contacted some immigration lawyers to see if they can help with anything in Moscow.  Our application has been there since March of 2020.  What a sad anniversary that is approaching.

I know 😢 im so sorry

I've commented on Rebecca Ross's twitter many times about it and she keeps giving the same unoriginal answer. She's the Moscow embassy spokesperson
