Hi all! Just wanted to update you. I had my interview today at the Chicago Field Office. the officer was super nice and friendly. We got done with the interview and about 25 minutes later it showed "New card being produced." I'm so happy! I am so glad the wait is over. Best of luck to everyone else!

He first went through the I-485 application and asked my name, parents names, date of marriage and the yes/no questions. Then he asked my spouse and I how we met, who proposed, where/when did you get married and who was there. Lastly, he asked if we wanted to submit any more evidence so we gave joint bank acc and insurance and itinerary of some trips that we took together. In the end e showed the photo album we had brought and that was it.

Right with you on this one!  I had kinda figured March when we filed, but seeing all the other approvals really changed the mindset around it.  I will go crazy if this thing gets delayed into April......

It's like salt on the wound every time I get the email updates from VisaJourney that our AP and EAD approvals are past due.

We (my spouse I mean) are in the same situation.  I think the majority of September filers are in the same situation, though there have been a few - generally who filed in the earlier part of September - who got their EAD/AP approval already.

Our filing date is Sept 19.  Personally I am hoping we get it by mid-February.  Let's see...

Greetings !  I am happy for all of you who got their EAD or good updates on their cases. I sent my application on September 13th and  Finger Prints on October 16th. After that my status on USCIS.com changed couple times. My latest Status is:" Case  Was Uptaded to Show Fingerprints Were Taken"  Is anybody got that update lately ? Thank you and happy new year.

Yeah my husband and I aren't stressing on the green card as long as he gets his EAD quickly. All he cares about right now is getting a driver's license (which requires an EAD in my state) and working.

Got courtesy letter today regarding medical. I got scared because the letter is pink and I was worried it was bad news. It just says that I-693 was not submitted, to bring it to the interview, and to not mail anything at this time. Not expecting interview any time soon though because San Francisco is taking 17-21 months. Still waiting for news regarding EAD and AP.

Processing time for AOS mostly depends on your field office. What city was your interview at?

Your answer is likely already in this thread because local office doesn't matter for EAD

    Hi All
After following so many forums for the last few months I thought I would share my process... I think I have been incredibly lucky!

    09/27 - Biometrics notice
    10/17 - Biometrics taken

11/08 - Ready to schedule interview
    11/12 - Interview scheduled
    12/17 - Interview / Approved
