Looks like USCIS is going back to their previous policy of requesting RFEs instead of denying applications outrightly. Great news.

I did, very recently too. Not sure how it will work in your case though because my scholarship came as part of my financial aid loan from my school. My school used my PF to grant me a need-based scholarship. 

Anecdotally, it is also the advice that I got, and one of the reasons I have delayed divorcing him for now even though we are separated. I just wanted to leave without trouble so I wanted a no-fault divorce, and even though I ended up not using a lawyer, it was definitely the advice I got...and took because I heard it from a few credible sources but it is possible it actually doesn't matter in the grand scheme.

Hard to say because not everyone gets PF. I got mine exactly 60 days after I applied but this was right at the start of the pandemic so unsure how that has affected their timeline. So it could be that yours is just delayed or you aren't getting one but impossible to say which for sure.

I already did another test and spent almost $400 and it's non reactive. I had my annual physical in December 2020 just before I lost my job and health insurance. And all my results are clean. From my research, I should only get 1 shot if I have it. But my partner is negative and the new test result is negative. I have not experienced any of the symptoms, neither have my partner. I tried talking to the said civil surgeon, but the receptionist said they'll charge me an additional $250 consultation fee. So I can't talk to the doctor, I'm stuck with the positive results. I don't know if this doctor will reach out to USCIS, that's my fear. 
 
I read a lot, so I know about all the stages and their symptoms and neither of us experienced/ is experiencing any of them.

I don't think anyone will give you that many vaccines in one day. Depending on what they are, you may be able to get 3 or 4 in the same visit, but can't imagine more. Also who told you they all expired? A healthcare provider?

I thought so too but the poster I responded to said in a previous post that they became concerned for TB after s/he presented with a lesion on the left arm which to me sounded like a PPD test. Didn't think anyone still did it. 

Hey all, quick update for I765 receipt timeline.
Files delivered to VSC August 5th, $410 check for C31 EAD cleared August 12, receipt notice received August 17 (less that 2 weeks after they got it, neat). I also filed that paper for them to send me email/text when they process my file but never got that.

she can apply for a c9 if she want, because she wont get the c31 until her petition is approved. 

Hi dear, your friend can only file C9 if she has a pending i485. That is what will make her eligible! So if this is the case, then she can proceed!😊👍

I have a question for a friend. She filed C31 with her 765 in October 2018. Is it possible for her to now send a new application for C9 or does she have to wait till she gets the C31 as her only option now?

USCIS sometimes re-use biometrics in their system hence your case progresses without a request for it. Hopefully it all goes well dear!😊👍 rooting for you!

Interesting. I don't know what old biometric they are using then. They took my fingerprints at the border like 4 years ago when I came in but never since so definitely interesting. All the same, not looking this gift horse in the mouth lol. 

They probably just waived them then. Keep us updated, if they didn't take biometrics your EAD will have a photo that you submitted to USCIS with the application and you'll have a box that says "Fingerprint not available" where the fingerprint should be, normally you only see that with little kids.

Also, i thought 131 is usually approved with 765, is this correct? do i expect 131 soon?

Replying a lil late obviously busy at work lol. So you are able to get I-131 with c9 only if you applied for it dear. Also a reminder that C31 doesn't come with I-131 when VAWA is approved. You only get C31. So if you want the combo card you should apply for it. If you didn't do that, you can apply separately!😊👍
