I got it to work, thank you for that heads up! I appreciate it. Our case is still just at the NVC, but I think I kind of knew that already. 
 
I’m so sorry. Ugh this is just not the way anything was supposed to be. It looks like we got approved just around the same date so I hear you, I was hoping for the very same thing as you guys. All this makes me feel so sad every day. It’s tough

I called and got my number anyway. The woman I spoke to was very nice and helpful!

I contacted them as well but the case number is invalid according to the website. The number is STK followed by ten numbers. Do you know if that’s how it’s supposed to be or is it not the correct one they gave me?
 
I’m not going to lie, I think this whole situation is beyond rough and I’m having a hard time getting through days at the moment. If I could just go to the embassy, getting some answers, would make me feel a little better. This is hard! 

Land borders*. Air travel is not restricted. Please stop spreading misinformation. I’m the one traveling to Mexico. Currently on the plane. They let me check-in and board of course. I contacted both Mexican and US embassies to ask about the borders. Even contacted DOS and DHS.

I contacted NVC and got my case number. You can track your case with CEAC now with that number but it is kind of pointless now because I don't think NVC is shipping the cases to the embassy until it reopens.
 
I also contacted the embassy and they will not be processing any K1s until the Schengen travel ban is lifted. So not only do we have to wait for embassies to reopen, we have to wait for Trump to end the ban....so there really isn't anything to be doing right now except waiting. Which SUCKS!!!

What most used is the first page of their bank statement where it will show the opening and ending balance. This is will satisfy the "statement from an officer" requirement. See example below. Good luck and stay engaged. 
 

That's in the USCIS service centers in the US and doesn't apply to embassies abroad. Several people have already emailed their embassies and gotten told that they wouldn't process things until after the end of the suspension.

No need to worry about that. You will get a notification with your case number and the date so at that time you can update your timeline.

Just called NVC this morning and got my case number. They didn't tell me when they received my case or the date that the number was assigned so I'm not sure how to fill in my timeline. 

Ok, I suspected nothing from the Embassies but wasn't sure about NVC. I wanted to know how "urgently" I should begin collecting the documents needed for the interview but seems I can take a little breather. Thanks!

I'll be honest, I have been trying to avoid reading about the delays that COVID-19 is causing right now because it causes me a lot of anxiety. But now that we are soon on to the part that is directly affected by that (setting up medical and interview) I am wondering if someone could provide a little information? Are we still seeing cases being forwarded to NVC and then to the Embassies? Are things on hold? Appreciate any information. I know that no one here has a crystal ball to see into the future! 

K-1 is non-immigrant.
I don't want to say 100% is won't be covered by this, but I do not see anything suggesting it is. I would expect K-1s to continue as normal (as normal as anything is right now).

They don’t know that yet, an article on The Hill came out a few minutes ago saying that they were not sure if it applies also to cases already in the process. But likely it will not affect the eligible ones that are already being processed.

Is this accurate though because k1 is non immigrant.
