Hi Scandis with upcoming interviews, I emailed Stockholm consulate today to ask if they are requiring DS5540 at interviews since the public charge rule that went into place Feb 24 and they said they are now requiring it. Just a heads up!

Goodmorning everybody! Great news. Woke up today and saw that I am approved. My noa1 was Nov 6 and March 2 is my approval date. Just waiting for the letter now.

So we sent our I-129F to Dallas on November 18th 2019
 received November 22nd 2019
our NOA1 Receipt date is November 27th 2019
 
I just hit the 100 days mark today  crossing my fingers to hear something in the next 2 weeks since my fiancé is coming up to
visit and it would be lovely to celebrate that together.

The section DOS Forms has a paragraph that reads

The second portion to me seems that if the CO can't determine from the initial evidence submitted for the K1 interview that the beneficiary won't become a public charge, they can request the DS-5540 to complete their evaluation. So I would say it would be best to have it completed in case they ask, which seems could be a possibility!

Hi November filers. I'm a December filer, just wanted to drop in and share the news. I just got official word that USCIS will be skipping November filers, and will process December filers first, then come back to process the November filers when they have a chance. I got official word that USCIS read your post and decided to take a break after the November filers because of the sheer shock and near-heart attack I just got. Jesus. 😛

Just an update for those waiting NOA2 approval. USCIS is working on the second to the last week of Oct. I suspect that in 2 weeks you should start seeing November approvals. Hang in there, they are coming.

I don't get asked as frequently but I would say someone from work asks about it atleast once a week. I just keep telling them it's a waiting game at this point! I can't tell you how many times I've explained this process to people. I always hear "Well why doesn't he just move here now so you can get married?" 😒 I keep telling myself that worrying or stressing isn't doing any good at all. It won't make the process go any faster!

Hope everyone is hanging in there! I've been peeking on the October filers thread every few days and it's so encouraging to see how positive and happy they are over there getting their approvals! Won't be long until that's us!  

That's so nice! I was also able to spend time with my fiance over in Norway, but the waiting is much harder without him! We likely won't see each other again until he comes for us to be married. We are trying to save up as much money as we can for the wait until he can work!

DQ: Documentarily qualified (case complete at NVC)
IL: interview letter (date that you got letter for interview)
ID: interview date (date you will actually have the interview)
 

Hope everyone's wait is going well! The holidays sure helped pass the time and I was able to go spend them with my fiance in Denver, so that was nice.

Greenbaum, you seem to be a patient man! You're doing great work here and have my thanks.

It will only change to "approved" when you are reaching NOA2 approval.  The only thing in your way would be an RFE which in itself is not a bad thing. Just means the adjudicated has pretty much made up their minds that you are approved but only the documents in the RFE would confirm her analyze of your case.
