NOA1 is November 8th, checked the USCIS tracker app today and saw we got approved! was nervous seeing a lot of people have been getting approved but very happy to see ours joined the band wagon! 

Did you get an email or text as well or just logged into USCIS to see case status?

I concur that issuance is the key
But to me, I can't use that as my test case since the case was in the system prior to the ban- tho what you said might be correct as well.

I more want to see someone go to interview after ban, get approved AND issued. That will confirm the K-1 situation.

if one comes to the U.S. on a K-1 visa, would they still be eligible for AOS? Or would they be disqualified... so many questions.

The travel ban does not affect Adjustment of Status.....
There is a difference between USCIS functions and DOS functions.....

Well my fiance is from Nigeria and his K1 visa was ISSUED today!!! So either A) the ban does indeed NOT affect K1 visas or B) he is an exception because his interview took place before the ban (Feb 11)

I for one appreciate Greenbaum's input as I have learned a lot from his posts, including this one.  Sometimes the facts he states are things you don't wanna hear, and that's up to you if you choose to label that as negativity but I don't believe that was his intent with that comment.  

Hi November filers. I'm a December filer, just wanted to drop in and share the news. I just got official word that USCIS will be skipping November filers, and will process December filers first, then come back to process the November filers when they have a chance. Why are you sorry to hear that? Everyone goes through AP on CEAC. Application received to AP to issued. It's a good thing. He was approved at the interview

Because you are the exception to what is actually happening with cases. Everyone's mileage may be different.  THAT'S WHY.

I got a both a text and an email stating that my petition has been approved. I am not totally sure if it was because of the G-1145 or because I created a account on USCIS, but I did get both. I would recommend signing up for both just in case.

I do not know.  I am just reporting what my fiancee is telling me from a Myanmar Facebook group, that applicants with K-1 visa interviews were approved. Not sure if passports were kept.  So it is like...double hearsay.
