Fiances must quarantine outside the US.....He will not even be allowed to board a direct flight to the US from UK.  Spouses are exempt.

Algiers posted today that they are resuming the processing of all their backlogged immigrant visas including K1s. They will not take any new ones till the clear their backlog.  I'd recommend you stick it out a bit longer.

U. S. Customs and Border Protection.   The people who allow or deny entry when a person reaches our border.  They have discretion for all visitors visits.

It doesn't have to be printed, you can show it on your phone. I printed it just in case. It does NOT attach to your passport or anything like that. Hi, the form is here: https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk.  You can only fill it in 48 hours before you leave, but it's pretty straight forward.  Today is the end of our 14 day quarantine, so we are going outside! Yay!

Too early. Wait until he has the visa and passport received back after the interview. Stuff happens when times are normal. This current situation makes it just foolish to book now IMO. The virus has not gone away. A lot can happen to ruin your plans. 
 
 

The medical clinic asks to see the instruction  letter to confirm your LND number. They accept the email/letter the petitioner gets from NVC which also has the LND number. At no other time does the letter get shown. On interview day, there is a confirmation of appointment date/time to show. You print that out yourself when you select your appointment. Many people do their London bit without the embassy letter. 
 
This is the best order to follow. It works.
Submit DS-160. Gather documents. (for interview as well as documents for medical appointment). You don't want a looming appointment if you hit a hiccup and won't have what you need for the appointment.  Book your medical date by calling the clinic. 020 7486 7822.  Book the courier, pay, and pick an interview date all at the same time on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv. Select “I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K visa appointment”, whether you have the letter or not.  Leave 10 calendar days between medical and interview for best results. Attend your medical. Attend your interview.

And do read all the information and FAQs on the embassy website instructions. Don't assume you picked up everything you need to know in the K1 threads. Each embassy does things in their own way.
 

The letter tells you to get your instructions from their website. It’s all there, just read everything.

There are no visa interviews at this time.  When the embassy reopens for consular services, they will let you know.  The validity of the petition can and likely will be extended by London, but you could email and request that.

Still not coming from NVC.  If such a thing is required and forthcoming it will come from the consulate .

The first place you should have checked was the US Embassy UK under visas > immigrant > Fiancee > Required documents you would have found the following:
 
K and Diversity visa applicants are not required to provide an I-864 Form.  However, they must show evidence that they are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. There is no set for that this evidence must take but use of the form I-134 is an efficient way to provide this information to the Consular Officer.

Most embassy's require the same documentation for the co-sponsor.

Lots of posts on affidavits and cosponsors.  Co sponsor simply fills out the form the same way.

Yes, your fiancé can scan a signed copy of his Letter of Intent to Marry and e-mail it to you. It does not need to be notarized.
