No, they didn’t have any RFE and submitted outside of normal processing time request. Called multiple times and getting the response that their case is pending in queue. I just hope this will not happen in our case!!!
Good luck to you and keep us updated in case you hear the good news.
Cheers to the weekend! I will be married tonight again, even if it is only until Sunday afternoon...

Someone in one of my CR1 visa fbook groups posted an inquiry today. They are waiting for NOA2 since April 6, 2018!!!
While I do understand that every case is different, this kind of timeline is outrageous!
I agree, not knowing part is hard.
Waiting is hard. Logistics and planning are completely impossible.
I have question for you. Do you at least see the date changing on your MyUSCIS page? Ours was updating often between May and July. Then stuck at August 7, September 5, October 11 (our current one). I read about this and when date is changing it means they are working on the case. Something gets updated and it prompts to change the date.
My husband and I are ‘lucky’. We are only 80 km apart from each other and he visits every weekend. And even that arrangement is not quite how we picture our married life. I can only imagine how hard it is for people who are not able to see each other during the process.
Good luck to all of us. Hopefully soon we all will receive the good news 🇺🇸

I have the same issue with IOE receipt. Last update date on MyUSCIS page is October 11. Texas is our SC. PD April 29.
Husband called yesterday. Case is under normal processing time, no other updates for us. They are saying to wait. Currently their processing times for Texas is 8.5 to 11 month.
Estimator on VJ says that we should be receiving response from them soon, but this is only an estimate.

Hi all,
USCIS has approved my petition on November 5th, 2019.
Today my husband has received a mail, but my case status has not been updated on the USCIS webpage.
So, it's good news.
Good luck to all of you.

Yay! How many weeks from your approval?

I'm actually the US citizen. My husband is the beneficiary. According to this chart of timelines from the USCIS , permanent residents have shorter processing times. I thought there were a limited number of VISA numbers so they would go to the first priority of US citizens. I guess I'm missing something.....

You have to remember that VJ data is user-based, meaning that we only see what is inputted by the members (at their convenience) and not necessarily reflect the actual approvals. This is only an estimate. I think we all should keep it in mind

We are exactly in the same case than yours. My husband is a US citizen and we are both previously divorced. Your exchange with MrsVibez is super interesting (the quota of visa for non US citizen etc.), thanks a lot. NOA1 was April 29th.

Doesn't appear to have been any NOA2s issued at the Texas Service Center since October 25th

jstriders reacted to Cryssiekins in Updating name on Canadian passport and nexus card?
I haven't travelled anywhere abroad since getting my green card, just day or weekend trips to see my family/friends and we just drive across. When we come back to the US, CPB only ever wants my husbands passport (the US Citizen) and my greencard. I always have my passport with me, but they hand it back soon as they see a greencard.
We're hoping to finally take a honeymoon this year, now that I've got a job in my field.
It's nice to feel relaxed and normal again and not spend every waking moment checking the case tracker. Haha

jstriders reacted to Marzena & Stephen in Updating name on Canadian passport and nexus card?
Yes that was my concern
My green card will be in my married name and my passport will be in my maiden name and I'm hoping a marriage certificate will be enough.
I heard updating the passort takes 2 months when you do it by mail so that's why I was thinking of doing it prior..but now i think I'll just wait.
Also i have a 10 year passport and it's pretty new So i thought why waste money getting a new one if it's not necessary

Just a tidbit of information for you all. Before your beneficary leaves their respective countries make double sure they bring EXTRA copies of their birth certificates with them as you will need many here my wife brought 6 copies all certified, very wise thing to do. Additionally if they are on any regular medication I would have them bring at least a 60 day supply as it takes awhile to get things rolling here 90 days is preferable.

jstriders reacted to Mrs Ryan Carreras in JULY - AUGUST 2019 I-129F FILERS
This has been a great week for so many of you ! 🎉🎊🎈!
Remember that even if some have been approved way before you that every case is so so different.
I say this after being the first April filer to be approved and than watching most after me be approved and reunited with their SO and us still stuck at NVC.
While I was happy for others, I understand the frustration.
Then some get stuck in AP for whatever reason and some of it is who your adjudicator is etc.
Who knows as their are so many variables.
Immigration is complicated and complex but all of us will get an answer and I don’t know anyone who has not hit a obstacle at some stage.
Maybe it’s the wait time for petition, a RFE, NVC, embassy hold up, Adjustment of Status.
In the end, all of us are promised a yes or no.
So keep your head up as some day soon all of us will be reunited with our loved ones.
No one understands this more than those of us that have been or are still going through the immigration process.
One thing I do know is I appreciate each and everyone on this forum to share in this crazy journey!

jstriders reacted to flfreddy in I-129F Packet: P. 2, Q. 54 - Circumstances of your in-person meeting
You are proving a bonafide relationship... not just a meeting. So front end heavy the application if I were you. I gave them 9 meetings pictures, air - musical - train tickets, table of dates, app screen shots, facetime shots, NO RFE.
Eg: We take a picture with restaurant X, and included receipt of restaurant X.
We took pictures with landmarks
We took pictures with friends and HOLD a newspaper with date
Our train tickets, air tickets, universal studio tickets have names and dates
Remember any RFE = delay 1 mth min.

jstriders reacted to payxibka in Possible visa overstay Canada/USA
You can spend too much time in the USA, as a result of multiple entries and one day be denied entry (thus the basis of the CBP warning) but this should not be confused with an overstay which is something very different

jstriders reacted to Cryssiekins in Possible visa overstay Canada/USA
I was issued a K1 visa in 2016. No problems whatsoever.
I did get pulled into secondary once. Spent maybe like 2 hours sitting there. Was told they called my husband (boyfriend at that time) and my story checked out. They never called him. It’s very dependent on which CBP agent you get, but, barring any criminal charges, you will be fine.
The worry and nerves are the worst, but perfectly normal. I was paranoid about the interview and it was the easiest part.
Excellent point! I think this is always a good message because no matter how slim the chance, no one, except a citizen, is guaranteed entrance.

The message simply means that your application is in the process mode. Expect some delays in regards to the attachment under 'Recent Notices'. Most of us have had similar issues. Wait for a couple of days and you should see a document uploaded.
