I believe it's 15 or 16 and older those are required for those. 

It used to be 16 and up needed a record check. With the new requirements for the checks I don't know if that changed also.

It does not give age specific guidelines. I highly recommend that you ask embassy specific questions in your country's/region sub-forum for a better quality answer.

Our RFE was for further proof that we have met in the past two years. It turns out our stupid lawyer didn’t send everything we sent them as proof. 🙄🙄
Lesson be learned NEVER USE A LAWYER! Use VJ instead.

I’m sure it’ll be for something really mundane and stupid. 
 
we have been waiting for over 20 days since our RFE was received. Was actually hoping for it to be seen after a week. But with thanksgiving gave it a bit of leeway. 
 
it’s fine though, I have been with my fiancée for two weeks so can’t really complain. Just needed to vent a little 😝

RFE notice on website Nov 25. Still waiting for hard copy. Being sent to Guelph Ontario. 

RFE Nov 27. don't have the hard copy yet but will post when I do.

Yay! Congratulations!

Read that first post and the .pdf file, send that email to NVC and congratulations.

So, after months and months of anxiously waiting, our paper work has been approved by the NVC.
I got the email while visiting my husband in Barbados.. We were both very excited to open the email, just to find out that we will STILL be waiting. Anyone on here will be or already interview at the Barbados embassy. How long was your wait till you got an interview date. Me and my husband started the paper work October 2018, I know we are near the finish line but it doesn't feel like it! Best wished to all. 
 

OMG Approved

Yeah, it sucks there's been a big wave of August approvals so I'm hoping the last of us July filers will be hearing some good news soon. 

Same! It's Friday so I'm hoping there will be a big bunch of approvals coming!!

Day 112. Hoping to hear something this week. 

I called the USCIS and apparently we got approved yesterday (5th) ! 💜💜

I'm totally shocked I really thought we were going to have to wait 130 days or something.
 
I wonder if the way you compile and organise the application affects the approval time? 
I two hole punched, front loaded, two hole clipped, binder clipped and then labeled each section on the bottom.

 

I think I can speak for most of the people still waiting from July here when I saw the impatience issue is due nothing being in order by time. Seeing people get approved on or near or after your date while you wait with no transparency is what makes us all impatient. 
 
If every day was processed in order, I wouldn’t be impatient because I’d have a general idea of how far off my case was. But right now I have no idea if my case will be processed today, next week, 30 days from now or months from now. Plus seeing cases after yours get processed adds to unease and makes you feel left behind. 
 
I empathize with everyone waiting here still and will continue to even after I hopefully get some news. It’s comforting to have a support system of sort of others here who are experiencing the same wait.
