Not once yet seen an I129f be denied without an I130 approval. If they were just going to leave the I130 and not process it then they wouldn't have denied the I129f because there would be no basis to deny it on. If anything it would have been approved if there was no I130 approval yet, so that they could come to the US to wait for I130 approval. However, it was denied, and the consistent, sole reason so far of I129f denial, is "your immigrant visa petition has been approved and your spouse no longer requires the issuance of a K3 visa to await adjudication".

Originally filed in February and decided there was no risk in sending in the I-129F once I learned about it. 

He wasn't. He's NOA1 is from Feb. If he was part of the pilot program he would have had it already adjudicated.  Mid June and beyond are IOE's

Let’s hope the courts put this change on hold. 

Thank you very much sharing, and wishing you and your family all the best. I am looking into I-129F requirements. After completing i-130, i-129 seems like walk in a park... and doesn't seem I need to go through my immigration attorney again.

As far as I’ve heard there’s no discernible pattern, some hear after 3 weeks some after 3 months, and the I130 pd seems to have nothing to do with it either 

I’m an IOE receipt number at Nebraska and I sent my I-129f of Friday. I’ll let you know what happens.

Yes of course ! On 9/14 i received letter saying I didn’t prove my citizenship (which I had sent birth certificate) for i130 so I resent along with my passport and mailed it out two days later. And then a week later they approved on 9/25 and a day later i129f updated to denied

So I guess the people listing their 129F PD are using the Notice Date. 

I mailed my 129f on Friday 9/21/2019. My I-130 has a PD of 8/29/2019. It is being processed at Nebraska Service Center. 
 
My receipt number for the I-130 starts with IOE. We will see how this moves forward. 😬
