    Quick points as I read...

    7. Does not impact EB-5 visas (an investment visa)
    8. Does not impact the spouse of a USC
    9. Does not impact children (under 21) of a USC, IR-4, or IH-4 visas

Not sure when it will get reopen here. Meanwhile! in US is going crazy with virus and the law with immigration are changing every 2weeks.  Don’t even want to travel anywhere at this moment. My visa is expiring on Sep 5 so I am Just worried if my CR1 visa expire than what will happen. Not sure whether they will extend or not..

September is yet to come !! Hopefully things will get settle down by then.

Oh. We just started thinking its impossible to get anybody on the phone at nvc.. every time we would call the same thing.. info about ceac and how they have to many calls suggesting we call another time.. we resubmitted aos on dec 31st it wasnt hand signed and their page said it doesnt have to be anymore and blah.. anyways, hope we get someone on the phone tomorrow 😊😊

Yeah, Keep trying until you hear the  one ring first, it will repeat same info, press 1 and wait few sec and press 7, and hold until they received. .And yes you do need to call them, they can reject document for very small reason and that will take your whole lot time. Ask them make sure that you have submitted the right documents. Good luck !!

Congratulations! What did you tell them all the times you called? To review your documents or to find out when they will review your documents? I know once you call, they start telling you what's on the website. I resubmitted yesterday

Yes,  they were keep saying the same thing to check website and blah blah.. but yesterday that lady was super helpful..i told her that NVC rejected the document for no reason, and their website says they do accept the birth certificate that is written in both languages. She said that she acknowledge it but she can not do anything but once i asked for the supervisor, ( there was none at that time, she asked for my number to call me back and she commented the issue in the file ) . After 5 hours it was approved.

Congratulations :)can i ask you what kind of document that was missing that you needed to resubmit again?

    Thank you !!

Its not a missing document or RFE, its  birth certificate of my wife which was written in both languages ( English and Nepali) and they rejected that, and i submitted the one with English only and they approved in 8 days which is pretty quick as far as i know.

Does anyone know how long the average Expidite request takes to get a response?

we requested - unreasonable processing delays due to NVC error... not that their likely to admit anything is their fault, it’ll be a damn miracle if they accept it 🙄

i think its that email that we sent and  they do have timeline for that too?  How did you submitted the case to expedite it?

Did you get any update on this?

They sent it for review with supervisor however when i called this morning again, the rude lady said it will take 6 weeks to review. I have got another document from Nepal but i am not sure whether they will accept this or not but i am going to upload it right now.

Message from NVCPlease replace this document with a certified English translation and the original language document.

  11. we unfortunately got an RFE in our DQ,  The birth certificate we submitted is written in both English and original language in same page and that is what they( the local authorities of Nepal) provides to everybody.  I am trying to call them and see if i can talk to supervisor. submitted date to NVC Dec 4.  Its  will be 2 years in Feb 15 since i file the I130. This is so frustrating.
