My wife has the same issue. She travels with our marriage certificate with no problems. US and Philippines understands the difference in documents.

I was required to get a police clearance for wife's CFO in 2021. I went to my local police department, signed a form, then they sent me a document in the mail that proved I had no police record.

Keep trying for a new CFO appointment.  You must attend a GCP session or you won't be able to get a CFO certificate and board the plane.  Even if CFO stickers were still given out at the airport (they're not), you won't be given one if you don't have a CFO certificate.

A certificate of citizenship is a formal document from the US government proving someone's citizenship.

@Chancy Thank you for your help. The key that I couldn't find was when mom became a USC. I will get her a passport and a CoC for insurance.

Thank you. She is my step-daughter. I will make sure my wife files for citizenship as soon as she is eligible.

Is your daughter your daughter or your stepdaughter?  I'm assuming the later since you've mentioned she's on an IR-2 and didn't mention a CRBA.

Your wife can file for citizenship under the 3 year rule after she's had 2 years minus 90 days of continuous residency in the US.  Depending on where you are in the US, citizenship processing has been going reasonably quickly.  If the child is hers from a previous relationship, the child will receive citizenship through her mother since she's a minor.  When your wife receives her citizenship, she can apply for a US passport for herself and daughter, then file for the N-600.
  12. Thanks

Your daughter will automatically become a US citizen IF she is below 18 years old at the time her mom becomes a USC.  If your wife files N-400 soon after she becomes eligible, your daughter will probably be around 14 yo when she becomes a USC.  So no need to worry anymore about maintaining US residency for her GC.  Your daughter can already get a US passport.  No need to apply for certificate of citizenship via N-600.  Although, if money is not an issue, I strongly recommend applying for a CoC anyway AFTER getting a US passport.  The CoC will be her strongest proof of US citizenship.

We just got back from a Cebu and my wife has maiden name on passport and married name on vaccination card. We filled out the e-travel info online and no one asked for any vaccination cards or information...so not an issue.

As @RO_AH said you can't be sure what the rules will be that far ahead. I am in the Philippines now and all we had to do is sign up with e-travel for our health requirements (we are fully vaccinated) and got thru immigration with no problems. Quarantine is still needed with no vaccines.

    Fact.  You're married.
Fact.  You want to commit fraud.
Fact.  You voided the K-1 by getting married.
Fact.  You've wasted months by not filing for the CR-1.
Opinion.  You're not very bright and rude.

First of all, terms of service.

Just because one hand doesn't know about the other doesn't give you a green light to do something wrong.  This website and forum is based on doing this process correctly.  You are soliciting advice on how to manipulate or cheat the system.  Good luck with that.

You're married filing a K-1.  While I don't know the legal definition of fraud, I do know it is a stupid thing to do that will bite you in butt later.

Thanks @flicks1998. What I should have said is that I was able to get a 9A visa because I am a spouse.

I just want to add the people on this site are amazing at helping others with there immigrations questions. Any process can get very stressful so let's all keep a level head and help each other when possible.

Actually if you received a 9a, that is a tourist visa.  However you can only get a 9a if you have a spouse or child in the Philippines.  A 13a is a spouse visa.  The only reason I bring it up is if you decide to extend your visa, you will need to follow the normal process for tourist 9a extensions.

Excellent information. I will only add my experience to this. I arrived in Manila on 11-20-2021 with a 9a(spousal visa) also...no tourist visas yet. I stayed at the Diamond hotel(you need to find an approved quarantine hotel booked in advanced). The hotel set up my covid test on Monday(3rd day of stay). I got my negative results the same day and they let me leave on the fourth day. I am currently on Mindanao waiting to take my wife and daughter back on a CR1. We are flying back Decmber 14th. Happy days!  Hope this helps.

I arrived 3 days ago here in the Philippines, I came on a 9a visa since I have a wife and child who live here. If you are asking about a tourist visa they have not re-opened yet, December 1st they are opening to the green countries but there are some stipulations to arriving here. It couple of things are not very clear about it.

The 10 day quarantine is gone.

There is a 3 day, 5 day and 7 day.

You can get the 3 day  for fully vaccinated travelers and if you have a vaccination card that they accept and you must have a covid test taken within 72 hours of arriving.

5 day quarantine for fully vaccinated travelers and if you have a vaccination card they accept and without a covid test.

7 day quarantine for unvaccinated or a vaccination card they can't confirm.

The funny thing about the vaccination card it all depends on who is checking your card in the One Health Pass system, it's not the person at the airport which I thought for the longest time. When you apply for your One Health Pass 24 hours before traveling you upload your vaccination card as well as your covid test if you have one.

Currently the rumor is the US and Canada are going to be moved to the green list December 15th so at that time the tourist visas will reopen for those countries with the stipulations people are still trying to figure out what they mean by them. The issue is the stipulations are a bit vague or seem to be incomplete like they are still working out the rules.
