Any time is good, I sent mine at 10 am
Thanks! Do you know if I can send it on the weekends? And did you use any online fax services to send?
-
Does anyone know the hours during which I can send a Fax for my EAD expedite evidence to USCIS?

When ever I talk to Emma she just gives me stock answers like check your case status.
It took me 15 minutes to get the correct option to chat. Not even sure the order of options I selected.

I chatted with an online Rep using Emma for my EAD expedite request , it seems they sent the request for additional information to a wrong email address. They also said only a tier two rep can resend it. I called a Tier 1 rep and waiting for a call back, the estimated time they gave was 600 mins!!

Wow, really? That sucks. And here I was, trying to find at least something to keep me busy by applying for remote work for Canadian companies...
I'd recommend to still apply to jobs as that will help you with interview preparation and possibly expedite EAD.

Today sucks, my 6 months of being here anniversary and I got in a car wreck that totalled my 2 month old car.
I had stopped at a stop sign looked both ways and pulled out slowly as a school zone and didn’t see til too late the speeding suv rushing toward me which hit me passenger side on and flipped my car on to its side and pushed it about 35 ft across the road.
Im okay just soft tissue damage to a lot of my left side and bruising in multiple places but it’s my fault because I came out of the side road doesn’t matter he was speeding. Didn’t get a ticket yet but could still. Also not sure if insurance is going to cover us yet. I’m an occasional driver on the policy. Still no update on my case I think it’s sat on a shelf gathering dust
😥😥😥😥
I hope your insurance covers the costs! On the flip side, you could use the crash and bills as a reason for expedite if your EAD isn't approved yet.

Hi everyone, we just got an update on our EAD status to "NEW CARD is being produced"!!(applied 3rd of June)
AOS case is still "case is ready to be sceduled for an interview" and Travel Document is still " case was received".i always thought that EAD card will be processed along with the travel document, but i guess not ?
Timings for AOS interviews are crazy loooong for every state ,but at least i am hoping we all get our EADS soon
Congrats!!!

What documents did you submit?
I did not submit any documents yet. I put in a request for expedite on Sept 24th citing job offer and unexpected bills. And my status got updated today to " your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXXX, was completed."

Update on above post, I got the following updates in the case history. Do they send the information by email or regular mail?

I requested for expedited EAD and my status changed to "On September 27, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXXXXXX, was completed.". What are the next steps?

Yeah, great news for cities like Seattle for sure. The only reason I care so much is selfishly because I hate my job and really want to find a new one, just don't want to throw a wrench into the mix with a brand new job until the green card is in hand....sigh, this is why we can't have nice things.
Are you the petitioner or beneficiary?

I agree with this. They should update to “everything is ok” or something similar.
I wish the entire application process was online!! An online website can more accurately describe all the forms required and validate them. If there is a need for RFE, they can be submitted immediately and also save a ton of paper!

How does one request an expedite please? I could not find that information online.
- Call Customer service: 1 (800) 375-5283.
- Press 1122 to go to the customer service representative(tier 1 rep) option directly
- Enter your receipt number as directed by the automated voice
- Wait for the tier 1 rep to answer.(I had to wait 40 mins.)
-
Tier 1 rep will present you with reasons for expedition:
-
Severe financial loss to a company or person, provided that the need for urgent action is not the result of the petitioner’s or applicant’s failure to:
- File the benefit request or the expedite request in a reasonable time frame, or
- Respond to any requests for additional evidence in a reasonably timely manner;
- Urgent humanitarian reasons;
- Compelling U.S. government interests (such as urgent cases for the Department of Defense or DHS, or other public safety or national security interests); or
- Clear USCIS error.
-
Severe financial loss to a company or person, provided that the need for urgent action is not the result of the petitioner’s or applicant’s failure to:
- Pick the one that's appropriate and give them the reasoning.

I submitted my expedite request on Friday and they haven't asked for evidence yet. I do see the ticket number on my case status. I hope they approve it without asking for evidence.
I hope so too! I submitted an expedite request today.

Has anyone been approved after submitting a request for expedited EAD but before the evidence was submitted?

Yay!! I feel happy for everyone!! my office Phoenix have had people waiting for 2 years for the interview, but I am glad other offices are working on their backlog for real!! I wish I could move my mailing address to a not too busy office, is that possible? like using a friend's address as mailing ?
That might raise issues with background checks. Especially since you need to provide complete address history for naturalization again. I would definitely advise against it since you already have the EAD/AP combo card.

You could give calling them a try but I think I remember someone on this thread whose interview notice letter was lost and they called, and the only response they got was that they could fax them the letter if it didn't arrive within 5 days. I can't recall if they would give them the date over the phone. But never hurts to try. Im sorry its so difficult my husband had a similar problem, and someone else had actually already asked for the day of our interview off because of their kid's school graduation. So they only gave him a few hours off, it was tough. Hope it works out for y'all

I called USCIS today. They said they couldn't find the information in the system and that the interview not scheduled?? They said there's a request to schedule the interview in the system but no a date. I'm so confused.

You'll get a notice a month in advance of the interview. You should be getting a letter in the next few days.
Only a maximum of 2 people can be off on the same day at her job and in order of seniority. So, everyone tries to get their vacation requests at least 2-3 months in advance. She already cannot take time off close to almost any major holidays/ long weekends because other people have higher seniority.
-
My status got updated to interview scheduled yesterday. If I call USCIs, will they tell me the interview date? My wife's work requires her to ask for time off well in advance.
