August 2021 ROC filer here, Texas service center. Filed N400 online on 08/01/2022. As of today, the ROC tracker reads : Fingerprints were taken.
N400 tracking reads actively reviewing. I personally don't care too much at this point. It'd just be a little helpful and put the mind at ease to be able to travel with a valid GC.

I travelled with an expired green card and the letter earlier this year. No issues. But you have to hope that the immigration officer you're dealing with is aware that this type of thing exists. When I flew to the US for the first time in the CR1, it was from Singapore. And of all places you would never expect a ticketing agent at Changi to not know what the CR1 visa was. Went back and forth for a good 20mins before things were set straight.

    Hello everyone!

So I'd submitted all my documents on CEAC on the 25th May 2019, and received an email last night saying:

The National Visa Center (NVC) updated the status of your immigrant visa application. Please go to the Department of State's Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) at https://nvc.state.gov/ceac. You will need your NVC case number and invoice ID number to log into your account.
Once you have logged into CEAC, please look in your message box or on the Status Chart at the bottom of the page. If NVC has feedback on any items you submitted, there will be a new message with details. If not, please simply follow the updated instructions on your Status Chart to complete your case. If any column says "Pay Now", "Invalid Doc", "Incomplete", or "Re-Opened", that means you must take action by paying a fee, submitting a form, or uploading a corrected/missing document.
    Regards,
    National Visa Center,
    U.S. Department of State
    https://nvc.state.gov/ask

I've logged into CEAC multiple times since, but there's been no message. I've had a couple of VJ'ers tell me they waited for a couple of hours before the message came through. It's been a day. Should I be calling them? Any thoughts is appreciated!

Good luck to all of you!

    Good morning, afternoon, evening all!

Had my interview at Dhaka consulate this morning. Appointment was scheduled for 8AM. The entire process lasted about two hours including wait times. The actual interview itself lasted for about 45 seconds. I sort of get the impression that the decision had been made and they only wanted to hear some of the info coming straight from the source aka the beneficiary. A very casual, almost boring conversation.

The CO only looked at my original civil docs and the wedding photos.

How are you? So you've been to the US before?

    What's your wife's full name?
    Answered.

Is this your first marriage? Is this her first marriage?
    Answered.

Where does she live? And what does she do?
    Answered.

I see that you were born in (.......).  When did you leave the country?
    Answered.

Did your parents work there? When did they move back to Bangladesh?
    Answered.

Can I see some wedding photos?
Presented an album. Looked through all of the pictures.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Answered. CO: Oh, thought I'd recognised the place! Smart choice, sir!

Again, CO asks: Where does she live?
    Answered.

A few more seconds of typing later, ''CONGRATS, YOUR VISA IS APPROVED''.
Thank you, have a nice day!
