How did u guys apply for green card after ur visa approval? Where can i find DOS number and A number to fill my husband’s green card application? 

@dwheels76 pls help me if you know the answer to this?

I said, I wont believe this until we receive the e-mail. I dont want to jinx it lol! 

Almost an hour after the ceac msg, we both received 3 e-mails!!!

Thank you Lord for this! Thank you to everyone in here specially @nyokie and @jenifferrecio426!!! Interview waiting game is next!!! I love Monday! Woooohoooo! Thank you also @shoowlaar for always checking on us! 💖💖💖

Feb 16, 2019 - NVC receieved/case number

April 1, 2019 - first submission

April 17, 2019 - rfe (multiple file)

                          - resubmitted edited file

May 7, 2019 - rfe (asking for additional W2)

May 8, 2019 - submitted additional W2 

May 15, 2019 - first W2 that was accepted since April got rejected all of a sudden (docs submitted May 8 untouched) 

May 18, 2019 - reuploaded same W2 they rejected

June 3, 2019 - DQ e-mail!

Ready means: at the embassy?

they send the case by mail or email?  

Transit means its on its way to embassy. When i got my interview, it still said in transit. Few days later it changed to ready

I sent an online inquiry request yesterday. Lets see when they get back to us. 

What my cousins and  other fam members who had their interviews done told me that you dont have to register online. They would just hand out a piece of paper on interview day that would ask for pickup location and stuff.

Hi, I saw some of yous messages about updating i864 which is already accepted. 

So do I need to update my i864 and my dads i864a with updated 2018 income? 

They didnt mention it anywhere. Its the first time i read it here.

my wife has a CR1 visa when trying to register online for document pick up. I dont see the option for Cr1 but i do see IR1 i dont know what option to select and when i called NVC they said they wont be able to tell me abything and i have to reach out to the embassy in islamabad directly on this issue. 

 

whats your spouse visa catageory? and have you guys seleted/ registered for the document pick up location ?

Oh wow, so hers is on 24th. Let me know what they ask her, I’ll prepare my husband. Im going with him. 

His category is CR1. I wasn’t able to figure out that too.. did u find out?

Then the CO looked at a few wedding pictures that showed our entire families and a couple of selfies. The CO smiled and said thank you and kept the passport. For some reason, my wife forgot to ask if she was actually approved. When she went back to give new passport sized pictures, my wife asked and they said we are approved.

 

She had to go back and give new pictures because the ones she had were slightly blurry. She said they were asking most of the people to get new ones and there was a place right outside the embassy to get new ones.

Yes I do, I remember you said reviews are based on PD too now. Cuz they send me interview within a week on DQ.

I received interview email this morning at 10am when I was at work dancing in joy after 7 RFEs and almost 6 months of NVC phase. Im so shocked and happy that we received our interview date within a week of CC. I am happy for the flood finally!!

Case Number: 5/8/19

Submitted all documents: 5/16/19

-All documents that I submitted were accepted but they asked me to submit one more document 5/16/19 @1:30pm. 

-Submitted document 5/16/19 @5:30pm. (Right after work lol)

-CC: 5/17:19 @12:00pm

 

I am still in shock. If I hadn’t forgotten to submit 1 document I would gotten in a 0 days (just 6 hours).  I was expecting a response in 3 weeks since they had already reviewed everything once. Thank you visa journey and to all of you for your helpful posts. I couldn’t have done it without all the tips I saw in this group. I wish you all a speedy process and stay blessed

It takes about a month after CC to receive the notice that an interview has been scheduled.  So if CC is 5/8, interview notification will be about 6/8, most likely the interview will be a month after notification, so 7/8, depending on the consulate.  Check the CC to interview spreadsheet for averages from Islamabad.  Good luck!

Yes I know, I checked islamabad averages and its most like a month wait and then a month time for interview. Im expecting July interview. But im praying that some miracle just strikes! And i get June interview😭 I miss my husband so much😭😭
