Hey. Hope you guys are doing well. Just wanted to know if you guys ever got the GC? Hopefully you did and can update us on your approval and how long it actually took before they updated your case status.
hI! No update to give; haven't received the green card. Just waiting patiently...

Update on our journey (K1 visa):
9/2/21 - Had green card interview at Baltimore office. The whole session was probably about 20-30 minutes and was simple and easy. The lady was cordial and reassuring. After the interview, we were told 2-4 weeks, we should be receiving a letter in the mail.
9/22/21 - The EAD/AP card was received. Sorta bummed that the green card was still pending but still that's progress!
9/24/21 - Interestingly enough, the EAD/AP notice letter was received 2 days letter with a notice date of 9/14/21.

Got the interview letter yesterday with an appointment date of September 3. Yay!
Where can we go to see reviews of folks' experience of the interview? Also, feel free to share your own in the thread if you already went through the interview process. -
I also recommend using this Twitter account as a source for vaccine tracking in the Philippines: https://twitter.com/herdimmunityph

Almost 9 months later, we finally got in the mail today a biometrics appointment in Baltimore, scheduled for later this month. What's interesting to note is that the Form I-797C reports that the biometrics is for theI-485 and I-765, but does not include the I-131.
But anywho, patience is a virtue!

Similar situation here. I sent in the RFE on 1/25 and have not heard anything from USCIS since. I filed a service request 25 days ago and gonna give them a call on Friday. Fingers crossed for some good news.
Update us on the thread! We had sent in a service request 5 weeks ago and haven't received a response yet.

hi y'all - to provide an update, especially for frustrated lurkers. After 8 months, still no appointment for biometrics (K1 visa). Just patiently waiting for any update...

Our case was updated to fingerprint fee received August 2020 for AOS - nothing since then! No RFE, No biometrics...nothing! We called or chatted every month since November, opened a service request each time we've called and still no movement; we live in the DC area. Anyone else in the same boat? or did you arrive on a K1 visa and didn't need to go through the whole biometrics stuff?
Hey there, we are in Maryland. My partner (K1 visa) did get an RFE for the i-944 and we sent the missing forms last month. However, no biometrics yet.

Great to see folks get the Biometrics notice!
What would be the best method to receive an update on when we may receive our Biometrics appointment information? -
We got an RFE in the mail yesterday requesting the I-944 forms we didn't send. Others reported the same in the August 2020 thread...looks like they bulk sent the RFEs.

Have many of you gotten your biometrics letter yet? Is it supposed to be a month? or more for the wait after getting the NoA1s for the I-485 etc?
Not yet. We're closely approaching the 60 day mark after our receipt of NOA1. Just patiently waiting...

any tips on how to get them to push it through? I called but they said just wait a little longer or come into the office when it reopens
My fiancee had applied before all the SSA had closed to the public (March 13). I waited the recommended 4 weeks (actually, we waited 5 weeks) before deciding to call. If you've waited longer than that, I'd just continue to call. Maybe call another local office?

My fiancee is on the same boat as many here. We went to the local SSA office on March 13 and was given a letter stating that additional verification would be needed, which could take up to 4 weeks.
The SAVE database has already said "Case Returned to Agency" for several weeks now but we haven't received the SSN card in the mail. Today, I was able to call the local office (use https://secure.ssa.gov/ICON/ to find the number) and the man on the phone said they had to "push" the application through and I should receive it in two weeks.UPDATE: Finally received my fiancee's SSN card in the mail today.

I guess it might just be a long waiting game...UPDATE: The card finally came in the mail today. Had to call our local office around 10 days ago to "push" the submission through, whatever that meant...

An update on our timeline:
An email on our case was received this morning notifying of our NOA2.
NOA1: March 1NOA2: May 30
Exactly 90 days apart! Keep the faith everyone! We were given an August estimate for NOA2 and expected anything earlier as a blessing.

Yes, my suggestion is to RELAX. Patience is a virtue. The case will be reviewed in time. Enjoy life in the meantime.
