Green Card approved!
Our interview was at 10.30am this morning at the Queens, NY office, we were done by 10.55am.
We got super lucky, the officer had visited my hometown in England so we all just chatted and joked about it.The officer only asked 3 questions: he asked my husband where I was from (which lead to the chat about my hometown), asked us both how we met and he asked me where my husband worked. He didn't ask to see any pictures or evidence. The only thing he asked to see was our marriage certificate because he couldn't find it in our file (he found it later).
He told us we were approved and I should receive my Green Card in the next two weeks. SO relieved that I will make it home for the holidays.

EAD approved! FINALLY! (AP status still says received even though applied for a combo card).
Just in time for our interview which is tomorrow at the Queens, NY office (we live in Manhattan but were luckily transferred to the Queens office)

so when my fiance (now wife) completed her dr. visit for K1 visa, she got CD copy and dr mentioned.. dont need to share this with Embassy or interview.
and post interview, she got the sealed packet along with her passport.
at port of entry, the officer removed the seal.. took all the paperwork including medical inside the packet and said, these will be sent to NVC and for your I-485 interivew.
on 31st, Oct, we had our her interview. officer said he doesnt see any medical records or info in his system, he made some phone calls and looked into various applications on his computer and said he couldnt find it
gave us 2 options
1. wait for him and USCIS to track the packet
2. get RFE and get re-examined at USCIS approved doctor and mail it back to the field office for approval.
@Srinath06 Thank you for the info. Trying not to freak out that this is going to happen to us. I guess there would be no way to prepare for this/check in advance? Weird that this would happen at a POE like LAX as I'm sure they get a lot of people entering on K1s.
Did you figure it out? Did you get your GC yet?

so, we got our RFE post Interview (Oct 31st)
during our interview, officer didn't have our Medical packet from LAX port of entry.
so, my wife needs to go thru USCIS approved doctor and have the dr. do sealed envelope and send it to San bernardino office.
Hey @Srinath06, Can you give more info on this? Did you have a copy of the vaccination records (DS-3025)? I have never heard of this before and now freaking out that this is going to happen to me (my interview is Nov 22).

Hi guys, I know that now my case has been approved I should be checking CEAC to wait for AP and then issued status but should it be my original case number that I’m using? Thanks!

Approved this morning in London. We were in and out of the embassy in less than half an hour. SO RELIEVED. Could not have navigated this process without VJ!

Hi everyone, I have my interview this Thursday in London. I received the email from the embassy today with the information for the appointment but I’m just confused as to what the appointment instruction page is that I’m supposed to print.
Any ideas what this is? What did you guys bring?
Thank you!

That's good to know, thank you. Definitely going to try to get them done pre-interview.
I asked her and she just directed me to the website but I find the table really confusing. From what I can understand I think it's Tdap, MMR, Varicella (although I've seen on other threads that's not necessary/offered in the UK) and the flu jab. I believe that I have both Tdap and MMR already so would just need the flu jab although I think it's only £14 to have it done at the medical if needed.

I am a UK national that has been living in Canada for the last 5 years and have a couple of questions about the medical process. (I will be completing my medical and interview in London)
1. When I called to schedule my medical the other day, I asked the person on the phone about the vaccines. She said I didn't necessarily need to have them before the medical and could have them after. When I asked whether it would be okay if I had them in Canada she said yes, as long as I had proof of which ones, dates and batch numbers. When I have looked at my Patient summary from my UK doctor the dates and vaccinations are listed but not the batch numbers. Has anyone else attended an interview without the vaccination batch numbers and been okay? If not, how do I go about getting these if they're not on my patient summary?
2. I have lived in Canada for 5 years but have never registered with a GP here (there is a shortage of family doctors in Quebec and registering is notoriously hard). I have either seen doctors here at walk-in clinics or seen my GP in the UK when I have been there for non-medical emergencies. As I don't have a GP here I don't have any medical records. Is that going to be a problem at the medical? Any advice?
Thanks in advance for your help!

It doesn't seem to be. Montreal visas are getting sent out at the same rate as everyone else. You're likely looking at it being at the NVC until March 5.
Great, thanks so much for confirming. Never thought I would actually be happy to have my case stuck at the NVC for a few more days.

After getting our case number today we have discovered that our case has been assigned to the wrong embassy (Montreal - where we have lived up to now) instead of London (my country of citizenship and where we will be returning to wait out the rest of this process as our lease in Montreal is up). I just called the NVC and was told that as it is still there there is a chance that we can switch embassies. However, she did tell me that Montreal visas get sent out to the embassy pretty quickly and it may get sent before we have time to change it. Does anyone know whether this is true? I am hoping that it's not and they just get sent every two weeks like other visas so we still have a week or so to change it and make the next shipment to London. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, another Boston-UK relationship. And your dates are so similar to ours! I hope that means we get our case number soon too! Congratulations
I know! I was just about to say that to you too! Call tomorrow towards the end of the day and Tuesday morning. This wait is the worst, praying for you but I'm sure they will get it soon! Also, don't know if this helps but I called the non-immigrant phone line ending in 0888. All other times my fiancé called the other line and they told him they didn't have it. Might just be a coincidence but worth a try!

FINALLY received our NVC case number.
NOA2 - Jan 22
NVC - Feb 21
She didn't give me a receipt date, but when we called on Friday they didn't have it so must have arrived earlier this week.

The tier 2 agent I spoke with told me it's been "in the process" of shipping since Feb 5 but that it is still at the CSC. That was at 1pm EST. I have no idea what that process is, but she assured me that things were happening. I really don't think we're making the Feb 19 NVC shipment date. Disappointing. She had zero explanations as to why it's taken so long.
Strange that the process of shipping takes 6 days. I'm considering getting my fiancé to call again tomorrow just to confirm ours was shipped today as I don't really trust the system. Please keep us updated on your status.

I don't think they received it yet. They told me they got nothing yet.
@Lana&Ivy @Spotify we have the same NOA2 date as both of you. My fiancé called the USCIS today (california visa center) who told us that our case was scheduled to ship out today and should have been on it's way to NVC by EOD. @Lana&Ivy did anyone tell you why yours hasn't shipped yet?

EAD/AP Combo Card and Green Card received in the mail on the same day - exactly 1 week after approval. Didn't require a signature, just got left in the mailbox.
So relieved that this is over (for now). Good luck to everyone still waiting!
